Your iCloud Photos library tells the story of your life. It also holds twelve copies of the same sunset, four almost-identical portraits from the same minute, and a thousand screenshots you scrolled past and forgot. Finding the good stuff has gotten harder every year. Tend Photos is an iPad app built to fix that. It scans your library locally, identifies duplicates and near-duplicates, scores photo quality to find the sharpest shot in every group, and shows you exactly what it found. You review, you decide, you approve. Tend Photos does nothing on its own. HOW IT WORKS 1. Scan — Tend Photos analyzes your iCloud Photos library on your iPad. No uploading. No waiting on a server. Your photos stay on your device. 2. Review — Browse duplicate groups side by side. Tend Photos highlights the recommended keeper based on sharpness, exposure, and resolution. You can always override it. 3. Approve — Select what to remove, type "DELETE" to confirm, and Tend Photos handles the rest through Apple's Photos framework. Every action is logged so you always know what changed. WHAT TEND PHOTOS DOES • Keep the best shot in every burst — quality scoring finds the sharpest, best-exposed photo in each duplicate group so you don't have to compare them yourself. • Review before anything changes — no auto-delete, no background cleanup. You select for deletion; Tend Photos waits for your approval. • Enhance without risk — adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, and apply filter presets. Tend Photos saves an enhanced copy; your original is never touched. • See your library clearly — Smart Insights auto-categorizes your photos into screenshots, documents, landscapes, people, pets, food, and videos. Search your library in plain language. • Export before you delete — optionally back up photos to a folder before removing them from your library, for extra peace of mind. • Full action history — a complete log of everything Tend Photos has done, so nothing is ever a surprise. Keep All or Queue All handle a whole group at once. Nothing is deleted until you review the queue and type DELETE, the same safety flow as everywhere else in Tend.
