Don’t bother ### 2/5 — Amazing Nurses, but App & Admin Need Work *2026-05-02, version 2026.6.0* The clinical team and nurses here are excellent—professional, kind, and helpful. This was my first time using the service, and while I’ve only met the nurse so far, she was great. 5 stars for the medical care.However, the admin and app experience was disappointing. I was incorrectly charged and actually had to provide my own proof of their funding policies just to get a refund. The admin response was blunt and lacked of any sorry for the error .Also, the app needs a ‘Confirm’ button before sending automated messages. I accidentally clicked a service while browsing and it auto-sent an X-ray request. It would be much better if there was a way to delete or recall a message sent by mistake. Great medical care, but the billing and customer service side needs significant improvement ### 5/5 — GP cost *2025-10-29, version 2025.29.0* Very expensive to see a GP. Does not equate to recession, or static salaries. Counterproductive with regard to chronic health issues. ? I genuinely felt that they’re solving a big problem of GP availability by having access to various clinics and even online. But when I requested to have a normal blood test just to check on my vitamin, cholesterol etc which I have with other GPs in the past who prescribe this for free , at tend I was told to see a GP and pay 60 dollars. The fees are high anyways compared to other GPs and now when they refused to prescribe me a blood test even though I told them I’m not sick I don’t need to see a doctor. I much prefer to call and speak with a person and I’m sure our elderly population struggle with this even more. It was difficult to register with Tend initially as well. ### 1/5 — Making it harder to get repeat prescriptions *2025-03-22, version 2025.8.0* Really disappointed, use to be free to get repeats and I’d have to come in year for check ins. Now they have increased pricing to get repeats, which isn’t the end of the world. But the really disappointing thing is they are making me come in every 5 months now which costs a lot just to get a repeat. Messed up my prescription, and there is no customer service to resolve the issue over the weekend. I have no medication and yet the app says my script was collected on the Sunday, when the pharmacy it was sent to is closed on Sunday. Don’t trust there systems. You will be left with a bill for nothing. Absolutely disgraceful provider. After many years with my family GP, I decided to enrol with Tend and it’s been an outstanding experience. The follow-ups, prompts, and overall communication are excellent. I especially love the app - the notifications, online portal, and ease of booking make everything so simple and accessible. Having the option to consult with a doctor from home is such a fantastic service, especially for minor issues. It’s convenient, efficient, and fits so well into a busy lifestyle.
