## What is Tenets Oracle?

HexAI is a complete I Ching companion: a scholarly edition of the classic, a reading journal, and an interpretation engine that runs entirely on your device. No account. No cloud. No tracking.

**CONSULT**
Cast with traditional yarrow-stalk probabilities or three coins. Every reading gives you the full classical translation by James Legge (1882) — Judgment, Image, and all six line texts — plus a structural analysis of trigrams, nuclear hexagrams, and line relationships under three scholarly reading protocols (Wilhelm, Master Yin, Zhu Xi).

**TWO LENSES**
AI guidance is generated privately — by Apple Intelligence on your device, or by a local model server you run yourself (LM Studio, Ollama, MLX). The Traditional lens reads through the classical text. The Depth lens reads the same hexagram as a mirror of the psyche — shadow, projection, and the work of individuation — grounded in an original archetypal commentary written for this app. Then keep asking: every reading supports a follow-up dialogue.

**REFLECT**
Your readings build into a searchable Library with notes and tags. The Patterns view shows what recurs: a bagua wheel of your most frequent trigrams, a timeline of your consultations, and AI-clustered themes beneath your questions. When a hexagram returns, HexAI shows you every time it has appeared before — and asks what that suggests.

**YOURS**
Everything stays on your device. Export your complete journal as CSV or a full JSON archive whenever you like. Import your history from other tools.
