It's very inconvenient to have to have a web browser opened just to view it! I liked it a lot the way it was originally. HOWEVER, I read in an email that we could download the Transloc app for a different way to monitor transit... I downloaded the app and definitely love it. So, for those of you who hate the new transit map too, I highly suggest downloading the app Transloc!! It's much easier to navigate & much more similar to the previous version of transit. ### 3/5 — Transit *2014-02-14, version 1.6* Like the new design but why is Transit not an in app map anymore? It now takes you to your web browser to view the map. That way you don't have to search for the web page every time. Fix this otherwise it is completely unusable ### 2/5 — Navigation is kind of pointless since the map doesn’t turn. *2020-10-30, version 5.2.4* Pretty much the title. The maps function is nice except it’s impossible to tell where you’re going on the cartoonish drawing of a map, then if you set the waypoints and set navigation it simply draws a line rather than turning the map to the direction you’re facing. There is no compass on the map either, so good luck actually knowing which direction you’re going. Took 30 minutes to find my building today because I’ve never been to campus and for some reason half the physical buildings on campus have the same color lettering as the sign they’re on. Not really the apps fault but it certainly didn’t help in letting me know where I was. ### 2/5 — Fix the T locator! *2014-02-18, version 1.6* Hate the fact that the T locator is no longer in-app. Makes me not want to use it because it's such a struggle! Like the rest of the changes, but come on now. Don't make the transit tracker any more complicated, it was great how it was. ### 2/5 — Transit *2014-02-15, version 1.6* What is up with the new layout? It's annoying that the Transit is no longer a part of the app and on top of that it's hard to see and navigate. The map is messed up and doesn't tell you where the buses are. So I when I downloaded the app and went through it I was super surprised at the wealth of information. All events, the a-z directory, maps, amount other useful tools. The only thing I can see having an issue is he Blackboard courses integration, can't quite figure that out yet.
