Now there are way too many characters. The serve & volley dynamic is too overpowered. The academy payout ratio is ridiculously low. Tournament match making is completely unbalanced. Why are one only amount awarded are 5 jewels? To me it is only a method to get one to spend money on that card thing. The matchmaking and gameplay mechanics often make no sense. Players with seemingly low attributes can suddenly reach balls from impossible positions, almost like they are teleporting across the court. The Long Catch mechanics and other special abilities make the outcome feel less about skill and more about having the right upgrades and equipment. Instead of rewarding skill and strategy, the game constantly pushes you to spend money to get stronger players, strings, and equipment. Free-to-play players are put at a significant disadvantage. It feels less like a tennis game and more like a pay-to-win system disguised as a tennis game. Very disappointing. Will also cost you a dam fortune.. in my opinion the developers are being very greedy, probably one of the most expensive games I have ever put money into. The matchmaking needs work too either my opponent can beat me easily, or I can beat them. Every move you make is micromanaged and the outcome is predetermined. So there’s not really any competition here….its like youre not even really playing/winning. The only thing youre “really doing” is giving them your hard earned money, (if youre dumb enough to give it to them, of course) so they can turn around and set the games, while trying to make you believe that you are really competing. I did attempt to contact support, twice, and surprise, no reply.
