## What is Tennis Tycoon?

From a single court to Grand Slam glory.

Tennis Tycoon is the deep management sim tennis has been waiting for. Start with one cracked hard court and a dream, then build your way to a world-class academy producing champions.

YOUR CLUB. YOUR WAY.

Every decision is yours. Hire coaches. Scout prodigies. Build clay courts, grass courts, fitness centers, and pro shops. Set training programs. Balance the books. Manage injuries. Navigate the politics of parents, sponsors, and rival academies. There are no shortcuts to the top - just smart management and tough calls.

A FULL TENNIS CALENDAR

Follow the real rhythm of professional tennis across 365 days of in-game action. Hard court swings in January. Clay season building to Roland Garros. The sprint through grass. The US Open Series. The Asian swing. Off-season planning. Your players compete in over 100 tournaments a year across Local, Regional, National, International, and Grand Slam tiers.

DEEP PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

Your players aren't just numbers — they're careers in the making. Eight detailed skill attributes, hidden potential ceilings, preferred play styles, morale, injury risk, and age-driven progression. A 14-year-old junior with a monster forehand might become your first Grand Slam champion - if you pair them with the right coach, protect them from burnout, and enter them in the right tournaments at the right time.

THE INBOX IS YOUR WORLD

Every time you advance, a stack of messages arrives. Match results. Player breakthroughs. Staff complaints. Facility breakdowns. Sponsorship offers. Scouting reports. Surprise events that demand real decisions - do you let the TV crew disrupt training for a reputation boost? Do you risk playing an injured star in a must-win semi-final? Every choice has consequences.

GROW FROM NOTHING

Five distinct club levels mark your journey:

Single Court — just you, a court, and ten hopeful members
Local Club — your first staff, junior programs, local tournaments
Regional Academy — new court surfaces, scouting networks, serious competition
National Powerhouse — top-100 players, sponsorships, national titles
Global Empire — Grand Slam champions and a brand that speaks for itself

BUILT FOR MOBILE

Designed from the ground up for on-the-go management. Quick sessions that fit into a commute, or marathon planning sessions when you have the time. Offline-first - no internet required. Auto-saves after every turn.

NO PAY WALLS. NO TIMERS.

Everything in the game is achievable without spending a penny beyond the purchase price. Optional in-app purchases offer convenience boosts - never locked content. No energy systems. No ads. No waiting for real-time clocks. Your progress is earned, not bought.

### 5/5 — Incroyable

*2026-08-13*

### 5/5 — Well done

*2026-07-27*

Fantastic game, exactly what I was looking for in a Tycoon simulation game. Only issue is that I can’t sim to the next day anymore. The game is stuck

### 3/5 — Fantastic game, still a lot of flaws

*2026-07-25*

First, let me say this game is very fun and I love the idea. This type of game is my wheelhouse and pretty much all I play.

Here are some things done well: the UI overall is good. It’s nice to be able to swipe back from the menu you’re in. The design is good with a focus on text over silly images and animations that would just slow the game down.

Here are some things that definitely would make the game better:

Email - give an option to filter out some emails or “autoreply”. There are so many emails that shouldn’t be shown when they are tasks you’ve delegated to your Assistant Manager.

Repairs - there should be an option to auto repair facilities and courts. Maybe based on dropping below a threshold or something? It’s so tedious and annoying.

Contracts - with all the emails (40 plus per day), I wish there was a way to make those important tasks appear at top of inbox (flagged?) instead of at the bottom of the unread ones.

Membership inquiries - should be able to delegate this task (ie set a minimum rating or potential threshold that auto accepts new members at that level)

Reputation - why does it cost so much reputation to release a bad player? No one in real life would have any issue with that. And it certainly shouldn’t cost up to 10% of your rep for one player! Reputation is wildly unbalanced, despite being maybe the most important thing in the game.

Rankings - I have a 15yo who won two straight majors and has never lost a match (and rated 96) and can’t even crack the top 300 juniors! What is that?! The rankings don’t make sense despite apparently following the point system in tennis.

Scouts - scouts are terrible no matter their ratings. Also, when you fire one and go back, it’s a blank screen so you have to close and reopen the game.

Finally, let me say despite these issues the game is fun, but starts out so tedious and then there is nothing to do later. I also wish rankings showed up/down movement. And the tournament entry system is broken. If the developer continues to work on the game, it could be really awesome. But for now there are a LOT of small issues and things that make the game not super fun or engaging. Hopefully updates will change that and feedback is used!

**Developer response:** Hi qbr7007. Firstly, thank you for playing Tennis Tycoon and for such a thoughtful review. It's great to hear the game was fun and that the UI, navigation, and text-forward design are landing well.

We're constantly working to improve the app and several ideas you suggested were in the recent release (v.1.2.41). Your other suggestions such as; email filtering, auto-repair thresholds, flagging contracts, delegating membership inquiries, rankings logic, scout quality review and early/late pacing are all under active development for the next release.

We read every review, and greatly value all feedback. I hope you'll continue to play and develop your club.

Cheers,
Tennis Tycoon

### 3/5 — Needs improvement

*2026-07-05*

Names don’t match nationalities and there should be more variety in names.

**Developer response:** Hi Bobbosquaredsquared. Thanks for playing Tennis Tycoon and leaving a review. We read all reviews / feedback and greatly appreciate the input. Names matching nationalities was released in an app update and available in all new games. Please feel free to reach us at tennistycoonapp@gmail.com if you have any further feedback to improve the game.

Cheers
Tennis Tycoon

### 5/5 — Detailed and fun

*2026-06-18*

I’m not a fan of tennis in general but do enjoy simulation games. This one has me hooked. Really well done.

### 5/5 — Great Game

*2026-06-12*

This game is addictive, and I really like the way it’s set up. It’s nice to have a solid Tennis management game.

### 5/5 — Astonishing

*2026-06-03*

This is one of the greatest iPhone game I’ve ever played. Incredibly addicting. I don’t even have any ideas for how to make it better. I love it.

### 5/5 — Super addicting

*2026-05-21*

I played tennis to a semi-pro level and had basically given up on tennis games. They’re either arcade-style unrealistic or pay-to-play. I picked this game up before a flight and got super addicted. It reminds me of Football Manager (which I used to love growing up) but for tennis. You can play quickly and coast or you can get super in depth with match tactics, coaching hires and facility growth. My only gripe is it would be awesome to watch matches vs just the text. But it’s a great game overall if you like sims.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.42 — 2026-08-11

What’s new in v1.2.42
The biggest tournament and rankings update since launch, plus a much quieter inbox.

MASTERS 1000
A new tournament tier sits between International events and the Grand
Slams. Nine Masters a year, big ranking points, and a real entry bar.
Your best players now have a rung to climb before the majors.

RANKINGS THAT MATCH THE REAL TOUR
Ranking points now count your players' best results, the way the ATP, WTA and ITF do, instead of adding up everything. Weekly movement arrows show who is climbing and who is slipping.

STRONGER FIELDS
Enter a strong player and you'll face credible opposition. Tournament fields now scale to the quality of the entrants more effectively.

A CALMER INBOX
Unresolved decisions are pinned in a new "Needs Action" section at the
top, so nothing important gets buried. A new Inbox Settings screen (under Manager Profile) lets you hide routine update emails you don't want to read — warnings, deadlines and anything you can still act on always stay visible.

NEW AUTOMATIONS
Auto-repair: set a condition threshold and courts book their own repairs.
Membership Screening: auto-accept walk-ins who meet your rating and potential bars, and only see the ones worth a decision.
Last call: the day before an important decision expires, we stop and remind you — no more sailing past a deadline on one Continue press.
Your Assistant Manager can cover an entry deadline you never answered.

SMARTER SCOUTING
A scout's ratings now more accurately drive the quality of who they find, and mission cards tell you the rating band to expect before you commit. Elite negotiators land prospects that used to walk away.

CLEARER DECISIONS
Tournament screens explain why a player can't enter, instead of hiding the event.
Entry dialogs show the real fee and your remaining club entry slots.
Program juniors can be entered directly from both tournament screens.
Releasing a member shows the exact morale cost first — and cutting a below-average player now costs far less.

TRAINING
Coaches and assistant managers you've handed training to now rest players early, before fatigue becomes a problem.

FIXES
- Fixed incorrect points for early-round exits at Grand Slams and
  International events.
- Under-16s now earn pro ranking points from senior events.
- Fixed a dead end after firing a scout — their prospects stay reachable.
- Delegated pre-match coaching no longer fills your inbox.
- Various tournament, scouting and interaction fixes.
- Stability and performance improvements.

### 1.2.41 — 2026-07-29

What’s new in v1.2.41
Bug Fixes:
•	Fixed a bug that could cause game crash after hiring a coach and assigning them a player
Reputation Tuning:
•	Adjusted reputation engine to reduce likelihood and severity of reputation drops

### 1.2.4 — 2026-07-26

What’s new in v1.2.4

The Spotlight — a new game challenge. Reach the top of the game and your club now enters "the spotlight." Big, one-off news stories that play out over several weeks.

Bug fixes & Improvements:
•	Reputation engine fixes for late game players.
•	Your Reputation Finances score now reflects real business health, including both cash runway and profit.
•	A new "Recent changes" list in reputation shows exactly what moved your reputation, and why.
•	The app now stays in portrait — no more sideways letterboxing on iPhone.
•	Bottom sheets that wouldn't scroll now scroll properly.
•	Fixed a rare freeze after busy multi-match days.
•	Indoor courts with multiple courts now count correctly.
•	Various layout and readability fixes across cards, sheets, and forms.
•	Player names now match their nationalities, drawn from thousands of authentic names across 29 cultures (applies only to new games)

Assistant Manager Updates:
•	Training Delegation: let your Assistant Manager run training. Tired players are automatically rested, and weekly plans adapt to each player's style and goals.
•	Assistant Manager for juniors: flip on "Include program juniors" and your AM will enter them in tournaments, prep them for matches, and fold their results into the squad digest. Star a junior to keep managing them yourself.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-07-04

What’s new in v1.2.3

Bug Fixes:
•	Fixed edge cases where the game could silently stop moving forward when you pressed Continue.
•	The Match Center button on the dashboard now always opens your live match. Before, it sometimes did nothing while a match was in progress.
•	Fixed a freeze caused by double-tapping a text field, most noticeable when setting up a new club.
•	If your device can't save your game (for example, storage is full), you now get a clear one-time warning instead of silently losing progress.
•	Fixed a rare case where ranking points could be counted twice.

Reputation Tuning:
•	The reputation growth formula was rebalanced to ensure more consistent reputation growth and drops based on user actions. Your club's reputation may settle at a slightly different level after updating - that's expected, not a bug.
•	The reputation breakdown now explains itself. It tells you whether your club is climbing, holding steady, or running ahead of its current form; and shows your two best next moves to raise it.

Thanks for playing! If you spot anything you’d like fixed or new ideas to improve gameplay, please reach out. We read every email and report sent through the app.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-06-29

What’s new in v1.2.2
Bug fixes:
•	Fixed an issue where some sponsorship offers were showing "Accepted" but the deal never reached Finances or the weekly report.
•	Weekly financial history now spans multiple years correctly.
•	Weekly History tab is year-aware — sorted by year then week, rows labelled "Week N · YYYY", and week-over-week comparison crosses the year boundary correctly.
•	One-off decision cash now appears on the weekly report (one-off costs/income previously moved the balance directly but bypassed the report's ledgers).
•	Same-type courts built on the same in-game day no longer share an id (which left the second court unselectable).
Reputation Recovery & Transparency:
•	Negative milestone alerts at 75 and 50 when your reputation is dipping
•	Release Player warning + departure email now show the real reputation/morale impact before you commit.
Junior Program Graduation Overhaul:
•	Fixed an issue where a junior outgrowing their age range could regenerate the same decision endlessly.
•	Fixed issue when moving a junior between tiers could do nothing
•	New Advance & Release actions in the junior UI
•	Expired graduation decisions default to keep/promote
•	Look out for more updates to the junior academy pipeline coming soon!
Performance and UI:
•	Promoting a junior to club runs significantly faster
•	Dark / Light mode setting now defaults to following your System setting unless you’ve already selected a specific mode. 3 options available (System, Dark, Light)
•	Improvement to saves for large clubs.

Thanks for playing Tennis Tycoon. Keep the feedback coming!
