Could someone please please please figure out a way to make an update to this app that will list the “My Teams” section to show the teams someone is on in order of current/most recent teams???!!!! It is so convoluted the way it currently shows them. ### 2/5 — STILL no player availability functionality *2026-01-12* This app is unbelievably basic and does not offer any logical or useful functionality other than displaying the schedule – if that’s even correct. No, I just want to see what’s available. All information needs to be through email. Coordinator says it’s not open yet. Supposed to open registration in May. USTA has no concern over anything else but the US Open where they derive 85%+ of their annual revenue. USTA is making billions of dollars, can’t they build an app that is really useful to millions of upcoming USTA players?. The app just doesn’t work. You get random errors, looks like a shady job by the few developers with no product oversight, or USTA doesn’t just care. It is a disgrace to this institution of tennis. To Apple Store team, please bring this app down. ### 1/5 — Outdated and Limited *2022-11-02* Same junky app with a new icon and new bugs. They changed the large icon for the app that you see when you look at it full size, but if the app is in a folder on your home screen, the small thumbnail icon for it is still the old USTA blue graphic. Your developers are absolutely THE WORSE! 😂 Nothing has been improved with the most recent update and the app still hasn’t been scaled for newer phones. Why has this lame app NOT been updated to support newer phones with bigger screens?! Nobody uses an iPhone 4 developers!!! It’s been YEARS! Come on guys!!! Also, it has several bugs that you haven’t fixed. They were all listed in my previous review, but I see you made sure to delete it because it truthfully depicted just how bad and outdated this app is. The app needs to be rewritten to allow for the same level of info as is available on your full website... no, not your mobile one because that’s horribly limited too, but your full website. Bottom line, you just need a new app developer because your current one isn't doing the job right. ### 3/5 — Maps and location please! *2022-10-11* Please allow link to Apple Maps instead of or in addition to google maps. 90%+ of my teams have iPhones. The linking is terrible. How come you can't go from league to tournaments etc easily without having to log in again. It's as if USTA is asleep at the wheel for all the regular tennis players out there. Need to hire better developers and invest more and get your act together ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-11-11, version 3.2.28* This app is totally useless. You can’t enter or availability. You can’t see lineups. All you can see is the team roster, the matches schedule and location. It’s just incomplete. Why bother. ### 1/5 — Poorly designed for team captains *2025-08-01, version 3.2.27* As a team captain I want to be able to actively use this app to collect and submit results at courtside without requiring pen/paper. There are three impediments to using the app in this way 1) it doesn’t allow preloading any roster information. I should be able to load in the lineups prior to matches starting. 2) it requires result entry in a set order (top to bottom). I want to be able to enter results as they become known in whatever order that is. 3) it uses an internal token (presumably issued by the server) that can TIME OUT, so if you don’t complete data entry within the timeframe (about 15 minutes) it will time out but won’t tell you that. Instead it waits until you hit Submit and the you get an unclear server error code that cannot be reset. You have to reconnect and will have lost all data entry. It’s 2025; how do you not have estimated dynamic ratings? Why do you not have a current list of all players and their ratings for districts? USTA should think about putting greater investment in the player experience instead of massive salaries for USTA senior leadership. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2025-02-17, version 3.2.24* USTA needs to do better, this app is impossible to use. ### 1/5 — Score Entry needs refactor *2024-08-08* The score entry process seems that have only considered one workflow, specifically that all matches were completed on the same date and that as a team captain I have all of the scores available. This isn’t how I want to use the app. As a team captain, I want to be able to enter partial information and update it over time. For example, I’d like to be able the players at the beginning and then update scores as they are reported. I should be able to move freely between matches and not have to wait until 1 singles is done before I can enter any scores. There is a defect if I try to use it in this way. If the connection times out (apparently), I can get to a point where I have all the data ready to commit, and then hit “Finish” and it returns a Server error. That shouldn’t happen. ### 1/5 — Torture to use this *2024-07-26, version 3.2.24* I cannot believe this app you have to sign in multiple times even though they know its you using it to register for a tournament or league oh my gosh USTA catch up and fix this!! ### 1/5 — Awful *2023-05-24, version 3.2.23* Given the number of apps and ease of use one would believe that USTA would utilize their members dues to create a highly functional app! It’s so easy to find your teams, reviewing matches played, upcoming schedules, etc. The new app is slow and very awakened to navigate through basic functions like finding a team roster. I hope they don’t get rid of this app thinking the other one can replace it.
