I was surprised to discover that confirming the date requires a subscription, as this wasn’t clear during onboarding or while using the app. I think many people would have appreciated knowing this upfront, or it would be ideal having a non premium, free option with limitations similar to other dating apps(ads, etc.)I like the concept, but I can’t justify paying for another dating subscription. ### 2/5 — Not getting a Tenr *2026-04-12, version 1.0.167* I’m not getting any match or proposal why is that? Then it’s too hard to get a phone number and continue a conversation. The reason this app is so amazing, is because there’s no such thing as small talk. You will instantly know exactly what the person looks like, so people can’t hide behind fake pictures. And then on top of it, You instantly go into a 10 minute conversation. The reason it’s so good, is because if you cannot stay on the phone for 10 minutes and have a conversation, you won’t be able to survive a two hour date. Dates are low cost and effort, which fair thats the concept, but the lack of profile, prompts or background information beyond photos reduces the 10-minute call to either surface level small talk and an appearance check. Or women are left to initiate questions about education or career, topics that matter to most women, but creates an awkward, transactional dynamic. The end result is a system that seems perfectly designed for men. They can quickly assess appearance, while convincing themselves they’re screening for genuine interest rather than status or career, an assumption that doesn’t really hold, even if those subjects don’t come up immediately. Think the app would be 10x better with a real profile and prompts. Even just prompts/interests if you must so the 10 min chats have something to hook into. ### 5/5 — Amazing app *2025-05-17* It’s really a lovely experience. Questionnaire is more thorough than any other app and it really does give you strong, compatible matches. Super easy to use. I thought I would get nervous on the video call format and it was actually fun! I only ever got one match in two months and they kept rescheduling, then I finally missed it by mistake and was penalized. Support never responded to my email, which basically said that if I’m doing my best to honor the other’s second reschedule request and it ultimately falls through, it should also partially be on them for not honoring the original time, but now 0/1 is 0% which makes my profile look bad. Due to the way the app is marketed, most of the girls are basic and type A. I get way better results using the free versions of hinge and even tinder, so by that measure this was a failed experiment and waste of $30. Was excited to try something new and minimize back and forth but alas - it just doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Everything pay walled *2026-07-22, version 1.0.204* You have to pay $10 if you even want to talk to a person, absolutely insane ### 1/5 — Yikes *2026-07-20, version 1.0.204* No active users, and you need to buy tokens to find out, feels scammy as hell. Some disturbing framing in the profile questionnaires, too. Great idea, poor execution. Avoid. ### 1/5 — Pay model is just a money-grab in its early stages *2026-07-18* In theory the idea of this app is great, but the payment model is currently designed to be not much more than a money-grab. You can’t swipe right or “like” anyone until you pay at least $15, and that doesn’t guarantee you any matches. Haven’t even had any matches yet by the way, since the app is gatekeeping the waitlist. So the app just took my $15 for absolutely zero return on investment. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-05-08, version 1.0.173* Video is not the best way to first meet someone. ### 1/5 — Please Avoid - Pretty sick and twisted *2026-04-07, version 1.0.166* This app loves to torture and punish its users. You cancel a date a week in advance and it “ghost strikes you” making you feel bad and guilty for being responsible. It loves to message you and ping you constantly - harassing its users so it gets annoying. The developer is obviously a sadist and did this to hurt vulnerable people simply looking for a relationship ### 1/5 — Zero Data Privacy Integrity *2026-03-26, version 1.0.161* company released my personal data within 72 hours of account creation ### 1/5 — $10 for a phone number is insane *2026-01-06* This app seemed like a great idea at first—cut through the noise and just talk to someone for ten minutes to get a sense of their personality. But now the model for this very new app is that you have to pay $10 for one single match, and that just gets you a phone number. If the app developers think I’m paying $10 for a phone number, they’re delusional… deleting and telling friends not to download. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. The cost of $6 - $10 is only if you and the other person both like each other after the video call.
