## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7.0 — 2026-09-08

• Nothing is kept in a lesser form: a title this device can play is kept as it is, otherwise repackaged without touching the picture; the re-encoded version now only appears as a last resort, and says so
• From an episode, keep what you want: this episode, its season or the whole show, episode by episode or season by season, with the space it takes before you decide
• A whole season survives a locked screen: it no longer stops after the first episode when the phone sleeps, and what arrived meanwhile is not asked for again
• Android: the notification shows the progress and lets you pause everything without reopening the app; the same button lives in "On this device"
• "Mark as watched" only marks what you point at — an episode stays an episode, and the button changes colour right away
• "Next episodes" follows what you do: unmarking an episode brings it back to the front, instead of staying on the next one
• A season no longer appears twice in the list of seasons to keep
• A missing poster comes back: the show's poster stands in for an episode without a still, and a refused image is asked for again instead of leaving a grey tile
• The dialog says it continues below, instead of cutting its content without warning
• No more frozen screen after "Keep this episode" from a long press
• A title's "delete after watching" setting responds from its actions sheet
• Titles are prepared one at a time, without competing for the connection: the next one waits its turn instead of slowing the first
• A title whose finalizing fails is no longer lost: it retries on its own, without restarting the transfer, and up to three automatic retries follow a transient error
• "On this device" tells the truth: real size, speed and time left, current step (transfer then finalizing), the exact cause of an error and the delay before the next attempt; space used is realigned with what is actually on the phone
• An outage no longer restarts everything on iPhone: the transfer resumes where it stopped
• The app explains why it went offline instead of switching silently, and tells "no network on this device" apart from a server that does not answer
• Offline arrives on the phone: "Keep offline" from a movie, an episode, a season or a whole show — without losing quality, tracks and subtitles included; titles play without a network, with their previews, subtitles and the next episode
• A full offline home: cinematic banner with the title's logo and resume point, device summary, search, a filter by library (Movies, Shows, Anime…), series and title pages with synopsis, cast and episodes — also reachable online from "On this device"
• Local playback without a single request, even online: the real names of audio and subtitle tracks, your language preferences (title, library, then Jellyfin account), intro and credits skipping; progress and watched titles sync both ways when you are back online
• Background transfers (adjustable, on by default), Wi-Fi only honored until Wi-Fi is back, a notification when a title is ready, automatic deletion after watching, space used in the settings
• Immediate offline switch when the network drops, a pill in the header and one-tap return online as soon as the server answers; a title missing from the device says so right away; automatic Data saver mode on cellular
• Tablet ready, portrait and landscape
• A "For you" tab: your recommendations, with a carousel, the reasons under each poster, a platform filter and your favorite actors
• A single "Extensions" tab gathers every page of your plugins, with the plugin's name ahead of its pages
• Personalization from your phone: banner, row order, density and recommendation settings — and your settings reach your other devices live
• Rebuilt tab bar: sliding selection, bounce on tap, readable labels, controls in the web's colors
• The home follows your account: the rows and their order chosen in the web settings apply here as they are — "My favorites" and "Already watched" included

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-01

• The interface joins the desktop: white pill buttons, violet → pink gradients everywhere — progress bars, playback, selections
• The home banner becomes a card with a glow of light, its text cascades in
• The navigation slips away as you scroll, returns with a gesture
• During credits, a discreet card offers what's next — the video stays visible; the end poster only takes the screen at the very end
• The episode list opens ON the current episode
• In landscape, controls move clear of the camera
• The offline "Retry" finally shows it is trying
• An episode that refused to play (its Dolby audio copied) now plays

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-22

• The server now releases the video conversion in every case: quality or track change, leaving while it loads, a long spell in the background, a force-close. No leftover temporary files
• Plugin pages no longer end up behind the tab bar: it floats above them, and the app now tells them how far to stay clear

### 1.5.0 — 2026-07-15

• Push notifications: get notified about new library additions, and — when the Seer plugin is set up — when content you requested becomes available (settings in Profile › Preferences › Notifications)
• Native Liquid Glass on iOS 26: true system glass effects across the whole interface (top bar, tabs, cards)
• Redesigned premium light theme, with automatic mode as the default (follows your system)
• Profile and settings reorganized into a clear hub with dedicated screens

### 1.3.1 — 2026-07-14

• Subtitles: formatting is honored — bold, italics and on-screen position (top signs) instead of raw tags showing as text
• Subtitles: now also displayed during direct play on iPhone/iPad (they could be missing depending on the playback mode)
