## What is Term?

Term is a calm school timetable: what's on now, what's next, and which week it is.

IN FROM A PHOTO
Scan your timetable, or choose a photo, screenshot or PDF, and Term reads the lessons. Check each one before it's added, or build your week by hand.

KNOWS WHICH WEEK IT IS
Week A and B, or up to four weeks, counted for you. Vacation Mode pauses the count over the holidays.

EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
• Apple Watch complications and Smart Stack
• Your next lesson in the Mac's menu bar
• A reminder before each lesson
• Siri: "What's my next lesson in Term?"

MADE FOR SCHOOL
• Double lessons, breaks and lunch
• Several timetables
• Classic, Candy, Pastel and Neutral colours
• Print, or share as a PDF, picture or calendar file
• Back up everything in one file

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your timetable stays on your devices and syncs through your own iCloud. Imported files are read by an external AI service with zero data retention.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-20

- Term now speaks Spanish, German, French, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (Simplified, Traditional and Hong Kong), following your iPhone's language
- Breaks and lunch are recognised when you import a timetable in any of these languages
- Made for iPhone Duo: folded, Settings, + and the weeks sit down the side, leaving the day the whole height; open, the whole week fits
- Fold or unfold with Term open, and it follows, from the day to the week

### 1.1.2 — 2026-10-17

- On vacation, widgets rest on a sunset, with a sailboat on the sea
- On iPhone and iPad, turning vacation mode on or off with Siri asks you to unlock first
- Smaller fixes

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-14
