## What is Terra Cognita?

Terra Cognita turns any place into a personalized audio journey. Tell it where you're headed — or somewhere you've already been — and its AI researches the location's history, culture, food, and hidden stories, then produces a custom narrated podcast made just for you.

You decide what matters. On an interactive dial, weight the topics you care about — new restaurants and bars, local government, culture and events, the outdoors, and more — and Terra Cognita tailors the episode to your interests. Every exploration comes with the Terraform Times: an annotated PDF companion with sources and links so you can go deeper.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
• Personalized, AI-narrated podcasts about any city or destination
• Choose and weight your own topics — no two episodes are alike
• The Terraform Times annotated PDF for every episode
• Background playback — listen on the go, hands-free
• Your explorations, saved and ready to re-listen anytime

### 5/5 — Innovative and personalized!

*2026-08-20*

Terra Cognita is one of the most innovative travel apps I’ve found! Instead of sifting through endless websites, I can now just have TC make me a personalized podcast tailored to what I want to do and how long I have to listen. It has helped me find new local restaurants and concerts happening while I’m traveling. This app is a game changer!

### 5/5 — Strong recommend

*2026-08-03*

The pods are fun to crest and easy to consume on your way to the airport.

### 5/5 — Catch up before you land

*2026-08-02*

Went back to my hometown for the first time in years and had no idea what had changed — this app caught me up before I even landed. Pick a city, pick what you care about, and it builds a short custom podcast plus a sourced PDF, like having a local friend fill you in. Genuinely useful, not gimmicky — knocked it out on my drive in.

### 5/5 — Travel Game Changer

*2026-07-28*

With upcoming trips to California and Europe I have utilized the app to both refresh me on changes since I last visited as well as provide more recent updates for the areas I have yet to travel. Clean design & simple controls makes using the app simple. Also, the ability to send the podcasts to my travel partner is a huge plus.
