Started out great! Good gameplay, interesting. Challenging. But every time I log in now, my water resource crash down to almost zero (when I load the game they’re in the hundreds). Same with food. The other day my energy went from 53 to 2. And for some reason, no matter what I build, it doesn’t stick. My resources are used, but I can’t use the building. If I can’t keep my colonists housed, feed them, water them, and keep all the energy I gathered from watching ads, then what’s the point in the game? You cannot support even a modest community without needing copious Energy, which is the bait for $$. Even watching ads for 3 energy gets timed out after a while for at least 30 minutes, meanwhile your buildings break down (why they don’t last a “month” beats me), colonists die, starve, dehydrate, etc. if you want to dump cash into the game, if that’s your vice, you may enjoy this game. Hopefully you have bionic vision to see the micro-graphics though. To the developer, great concept but you don’t need to design this to be a mandatory money pit. Especially in the beginning! Love the bleakness and outcomes of the explorations feels really real. At same point at the exact number of building when we can build something but it can't work normaly, it's like there is fix number of building. 2. Как старые стратегии, простые и понятные, давно искал такую. Но есть проблемы, у меня в определенный момент перестают строиться здания, начинается это где то в районе 50 человек колонии. И выражается в том что после постройки любого здания, оно не работает, при нажатии на него отображается интерфейс здания на которое нажимал до этого. При выходе из игры эти здания не сохраняются. Два раза начинал с начала но итог один, что делать не знаю. Удалять не хочется, буду ждать обновления, может исправят. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — My experience. *2025-04-05, version 1.3.7* At first I could watch adds to get the energy I needed in the game but after a couple of days the adds were less and less available now by my 4th day I can only seem to watch 1 add/day for a total of 3 energy and the game does give a tiny bit of energy each day but with both of these combined it’s not nearly enough to even sustain the people. I did spend 5.00 on a pack of 300 energy and very soon after I noticed everything started to cost more or required higher level materials. Even simple things like turning on the water generator suddenly required much more. Also my people began gathering way less materials. My scrap metal collecting went from around 20 or more per day to 3-6 per day even after I added more workers on it & there were still plenty of places to get metal. Also every time it got to 5 or 6 pieces suddenly it went back down to 1 or 2 pieces. I had no one making tools so that should not have been the reason for this. Now my people can’t bring in anywhere near enough material for basic things like water or to repair any buildings. It sure feels like as soon as I spent money the game began trying to pressure me into spending more & more. But this has the opposite effect on me. It makes me not want to waste anymore money on this game because I know it will only push for more. I’ve had no luck with customer support either. I began building a Timber Mill, as it was building I saved the game and logged out. Next time I got on there was no Timber Mill but all of the energy and material I paid to build it was still gone. I emailed the developer and never got a response. Even though the game is super slow I did kinda like it. So I will play for now but will not purchase more energy. My people will either gather enough to go on or they will die and I will find a different game. ### 1/5 — Restarting *2023-10-09, version 1.3.7* I just downloaded the game and was actually enjoying it however it said it saved my progress. I load my colony and it’s completely restarted as if I pressed new colony. I was looking forward to playing it. I deleted it. ### 1/5 — Fun concept but broken with bugs *2023-08-22, version 1.3.7* I’m so glad another one of these types of games exists on iPhone, but it’s riddled with bugs. Some of which break the game completely. For example, I’m stuck at 60 house population. Every time I build a new house, it just doesn’t count towards my house count and disappears when I reopen the game. My new people can’t survive. When I think of all the effort put in to creating a game that is a waste of time and effort to play, I think of all the much better things that developers could have done with their time as well as time I could have saved not even trying it out. The graphics are abysmal as is the so called tutorial. If you must download this tripe, invest in a high powered magnifying glass to see what is going on! This game doesn’t, in my humble opinion, deserve one star. Pointless and irrelevant!!!! ### 1/5 — Not sure if it’s me *2022-10-18, version 1.3.7* It’s difficult to understand how this received so many 5 star reviews. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve stalled out very early on in this game, even with spending a few bucks for energy. I’ll cut my losses and move on to another game. It takes 20 wood to generate 8 water, or 28 planks to generate the same. To make planks it takes 3 wood plus 1 tool plus 1 sand. To generate 1 tool it takes 3 wood and 5 metal. Why would I ever use planks to create water. All buildings need repairs, whether used or not. Seems impossible to keep up with the overhead without paying. I found myself buying the $0.99 pack with if the 1st 30 mins. Boo. Maybe it’s just me, but horrible app. ### 1/5 — Broken? *2022-07-12, version 1.3.7* For no reason my settlers die in huge batches despite having enough water, food and shelter. Has to be one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. Imagined Lore : I have always been intrigued by the future of humanity. I’ve never looked at the future of humanity, being sci-fi, futuristic, or brilliant. I have always imagined it being a dark, horrible future. Where we run out of oil and petroleum by 2050, cars refuse to work, people lose jobs and mass panic spreads. Glaciers melt, sea levels rise, end of modern transportation comes, and the end of technology, as rare earth materials are become scarce. The end of the world begins, this marks the beginning of true anarchism, and its role on human extinction. I can imagine this world inside the game as, everything would be the same in our universe and its future. Except global warming was 20X worse in this universe than our own, by 2050. The temperature would to such horrifying levels, even what once was the coldest places on Earth, Siberia and Greenland become hot and barren. Game opinion : The game is in poor condition, many glitches and problems. Unlike many other reviews, energy never became a problem. I never needed to watch ads or purchase anything, because I was so in love with the game. I spent longer just to enjoy the game at its maximum content. An entire week well spent, well loved. Do not let the games condition fool you. This is a 5 star to me, as the game in my opinion is extremely realistic, and interesting. To the expeditions you could send out, invasions, and findings. The game is perfect in representing its true message. Recommended game additions : Fix as many glitches as possible, as I encountered far too many of them. Make the games message more clear. At night, my colonists refused to go in the tents. This happened later on in the game, and was annoying as they didn’t get any sleep. The graphics are not stupendous, but it that’s not what it’s about. The best thing? You don’t have to belong to a clan or alliance. I am so tired of those games, and most of the survival games involve multiplayer. I don’t find that relaxing at all.In fact quite the opposite. Also, you only have to watch ads if you want too. And you get free energy if you do. The water system, is a bit tricky and I’m not thrilled about having to spend resources when I come back online and have to start it up. I do wish there was a way to speed through the night if there is not an event.
