Terrasate may be the best ceramics organizing App out there. It is versatile and is clearly developed by a potter who understands the different techniques, materials, methods that go into both the hand building and throwing process. It provides comprehensive options to quickly capture the process for each piece you create but also allows you to add additional details otailored to your work. It has handy search features and lets you capture and store inspiration. Easy to use and Really well thought out !

I find the app really slow (I’m on an iphone 13 mini) and I keep getting disconnected and kicked back to the login screen. I’m sorry but I cannot use an app that sometimes might not save my work.

Just as in ceramics, where the real value comes from originality, curiosity, and respect for the craft, the same should be true of mobile apps. In this case, it’s painfully obvious which app was copied, without any real understanding of what made the original work in the first place.

What makes it even more disappointing is that there’s no acknowledgment at all, no credit given to the original idea or where it clearly came from.

I love that I can finally keep track of every piece I make without staring at shelves trying to remember what’s what. Terrasate makes it easy to see which stage each piece is in and what glazes I used.  no more second guessing or losing track of my process.

This app actually gets pottery. It lets me track every piece, so I can quickly see what’s been fired vs what needs to be, and keeps notes on glazes (and allows me to customize) without me having to scribble in a notebook or remember where everything is. I love the ability to save inspiration alongside my wip, and I can even keep my shrinkage math noted with every piece. It was so quick to add my stuff. One of the few apps where premium is definitely worth it.
