People work at night and you have to drive, it could be an emergency or anything. Unsafe following is a joke, because the car sensors are too sensitive. The unsafe following is ridiculous. If you never have an accident or hit something, the unsafe following shouldn’t count against your score. They should be removed driving after 11:00 pm. How can you tell someone when to drive their vehicle?? And unsafe following is not accurate. I’m thinking about changing my insurance to another company. ### 4/5 — Works, but Huge *2026-08-28, version 4.60.0* This is Tesla’s everything app, and I needed it to charge a non-Tesla at a Tesla charging station. The huge size and slow cell service at the remote location means it took longer to download the app than to actually charge the car. This seems somewhat counterproductive to getting good throughput at charging stations. It seems like it would be nice to have a smaller, dedicated charging app that could be downloaded much faster. Other than this, the app has worked well for charging at all Tesla superchargers and destination chargers I have needed (which admittedly so far hasn’t been that many). One refinement that would be nice would be a way to turn off members/residents/customers only chargers on the map, and only show public chargers. Definitely hoping there’s a way to get more Destination Charger owners to flip DIP switch 2 on their chargers to allow non-Tesla guests to charge at their locations, but that’s definitely not the app’s fault. ### 4/5 — Charging “Other” variability *2026-08-27, version 4.60.0* Hi can you add a customised variable pricing for each charge as the range of pricing can be from $0-$1/kwh depending upon weather you charge on a destination charger or high powered non Tesla ones. It would be good to have a more accurate costing of charging even if the aprox fuel costing is inaccurate you could do the same with fuel to achieve a more accurate saving ### 3/5 — Some glitches *2026-08-26, version 4.60.0* Acoustic A couple of things. I haveydriver profile set to standard but it sometimes changes to another speed speed. Also there is a private driveway on my road that looks like it goes to my place at 2727 Hibbens close, Victoria but it doesn’t. The lining along windows is discolored to a purplish chemical color. The center console lock just broke. However from past few weeks, there is huge impact on the phone battery life. Background activity from Tesla app draws 9-10% every night which is unexpected. It also stopped locking when I leave ### 1/5 — No work *2026-08-28, version 4.60.0* For some reason I haven’t been receiving notifications from the Tesla App. The only solutions provided by the service reps is to check settings & ensure I have all the latest software updates. I’m smart enough to come up w/that on my own & all settings are as they were when I was receiving notifications. Their last suggestion was to just wait for the next app update, maybe that will fix it. It even says if you want the tesla app without owning one it will be $12 a month. It has Ai, but it seems to be the faulty Elon type, it doesn’t work. They uses some location from 24 hours ago every time you open the phone chargers screen. And then it zooms up to where you’re at, but it’s still showing the chargers from the location that was cashed 24 hours ago. ### 1/5 — Camera *2026-08-25, version 4.59.5* I hate that my camera don’t always show. Like I would like to see the outside and inside activities while I’m in the store or house ### 1/5 — A tricky app needing your attention on the rate *2026-08-24, version 4.59.5* This has happened several times: the rate you see may not be aligned with the rate when you plug in to your car 8/24/2026 Availability is often wrong! ### 1/5 — Can’t unlock or start car with phone key *2026-08-20, version 4.59.5* It worked for 3 years, nothing changed, all of a sudden I can’t unlock or start my car with phone as the key unless I restart the app. I already tried repairing the phone key, reinstalling the app, toggling my Bluetooth, restarting my phone, restarting the car’s Tesla software, half of these will temporarily fix the issue until the next time I need to unlock the car again. ### 1/5 — POOR SERVICE.
