PIN THE ONES YOU KEEP COMING BACK TO
Hold the artwork on Now Playing, tap the pin button, or long-press any track,
album or artist. Pinned tracks gather in their own list at the top of
Playlists, newest first, with a quiet dot on every row so you can spot them
while browsing. Apple Music tracks can be pinned too, in their own list.

ARRANGE YOUR PINNED LIST
Pinned lists now sort by Manual Order alongside the existing choices. Pick it,
open the ... menu, tap Edit, and drag the rows where you want them. Anything
you pin afterwards arrives at the top. The ... menu also holds Unpin All.

SEARCH FINDS THE FILE NAME
Songs whose tags are missing or wrong were unfindable unless you were already
standing in their folder — the name on screen was the one thing search would
not look at. Every search in the app now reads it, along with the album tag
that some screens had been quietly skipping.

APOSTROPHES, DASHES AND THAI SPELLINGS MATCH EITHER WAY
"Don't Stop" could not be found by typing Don't, because the keyboard writes a
curly apostrophe and most tags hold a straight one. Curly and straight quotes,
en dashes and hyphens now match each other. Thai words that can be stored two
ways that look identical on screen now match each other too.

ONE SEARCH, EVERYWHERE
Tracks, Folders, Formats, Playlists and the main search box each used to
search a slightly different set of fields, so the same word gave different
answers in different places. They now ask the same question.

HOLD AN APPLE MUSIC TRACK
Apple Music rows had no long-press menu at all. Hold a track in Tracks, in
search results, inside an album, playlist or genre, or in Pinned, and you get
Play Now, Shuffle All, Play Next, Add to Queue, and Pin.

PLAY NEXT AND ADD TO QUEUE FOR APPLE MUSIC
Send a track straight after whatever is playing, or to the end of the queue,
without losing your place.

RESUME AT TRACK
A new switch under Resume Playback. On, a folder's Resume picks up the
remembered track where you stopped. Off, it brings back the same queue and the
same track but starts it from the beginning.

PAUSING NOW SAVES YOUR PLACE
Stopping the ordinary way used to leave a folder remembering wherever the last
automatic save landed, up to thirty seconds earlier. Your position is now
written the moment you pause.

UNPLUGGING STOPS THE MUSIC
Pull out a USB DAC or wired headphones, or walk away from Bluetooth, and
playback pauses instead of continuing out of the iPhone's own speaker at the
speaker's volume. Your place in the track is saved at the moment the cable
leaves.

MUTE WHERE THE VOLUME IS
The speaker at the left of the volume slider is now the mute button, on both
the local and Apple Music screens. With a network player connected it mutes
that device, not your phone.

ALBUMS BORROW THE FOLDER'S COVER
An album whose files carry no embedded artwork now shows the picture from its
folder instead of a blank square. Any real cover inside the album still wins.

CHOOSE YOUR APP ICON
Settings > About Tessera > App Icon. Four new icons — Full, Thai Kanok,
Minimal and Stained Glass — alongside the original.

THE FOLDERS LIST SCROLLS SMOOTHLY AGAIN
Scrolling Folders while music played stuttered, on any device. It stays smooth
now.

CLEARING STREAMING DATA
Clear Streaming Cache no longer throws away the tracks you had pinned, and
play counts update immediately instead of waiting for a restart. Clearing play
counts is now its own action, so resetting the numbers does not also discard
cached covers and quality badges.

Also: elapsed time is back in the mini player for Apple Music tracks, plus
smaller fixes throughout.

NETWORK PLAYER
Send your music to a UPnP/DLNA player anywhere in the house and keep the
controls in your pocket. Your server streams to it directly — this iPhone
only sends the instructions, so nothing is re-encoded on the way.

- Find players on your Wi-Fi and see what each one can do before you choose
- Players that hold a queue take the whole album at once and finish it on
  their own, even with iPhone locked or closed
- For every other player, an optional switch keeps the queue flowing while
  the screen is off
- Lock-screen controls, volume, seek, and the current track, all live
- Lock your phone and come back — playback picks up where it should

INSTANT FROM YOUR SERVER
Press play and hear it. Server tracks now start while they download instead
of after: a DSD512 album that took thirty seconds starts in a third of a
second, and a 1.2 GB WAV file in under two. Interrupted downloads resume
where they stopped instead of starting over.

FOLDERS THAT MOVED
When a folder is no longer where it was, Tessera says so instead of leaving
silent gaps — keep the tracks in place if the drive is simply unplugged, or
remove them in one step if they are gone for good.

MORE ACCURATE
- Fixed a timer that drifted forward after pausing DSD playback
- Seeking inside a gapless album now lands where you dropped it
- Track changes after a seek are reported properly again
- Bit-Perfect is only shown when the output really is bit-perfect, never as
  a guess

  sidebar uses
- The Hi-Res badge in library rows is a gold dot, so long titles get the

Six ways to watch
The Now Playing visualiser now offers Bars, Ticks, Line, Area, Mirror and a true Oscilloscope that draws the waveform itself. Each source remembers its own choice, and the whole thing switches off the moment you leave the screen.

Shuffle that sounds shuffled
No Repeat Artist and No Repeat Album now keep three to five songs between repeats instead of only avoiding back-to-back ones, so a shuffle no longer ping-pongs between two artists. They also work with DJ Flow and on music that has not been analysed yet.

Browse by feel
New BPM and Mood sections find music by tempo and character instead of by name. Analyse a folder and watch its progress right on the folder row.

Know what you're hearing
Apple Music now shows the quality actually arriving on your device alongside what the catalogue offers — they are not always the same. A green check appears when the two match, and when local playback is bit-perfect.

Apple Music keeps up
Skipping to the next song — or just letting one end — now updates everything: the cover, the track details, the quality readout, and your play count.

One clock, everywhere
Elapsed and total time now appear in the mini player, for Apple Music as well as your own library, and every screen shows the time the same way.

Resume remembers
A folder now remembers the track you actually reached, including songs that played gaplessly one after another. Play counts for those songs are counted too.

Servers that find their way back
When your router hands a server a new address, playback re-finds it by itself. A scan that comes back empty can no longer clear a server's tracks, and songs kept in playlists survive a rescan that merges duplicate files.

Sleep timer, one place
The sleep timer now lives in the Library sidebar, and setting one keeps the countdown on screen instead of closing on you.

Clearer controls
Play, Shuffle and AirPlay sit on iOS 26's Liquid Glass, untinted so they read as glass rather than as coloured discs. AirPlay follows your theme colour instead of always turning blue.

Themes that stay put
Now Playing keeps the colours of the source you are listening to, not the one you happen to be browsing. Each source can also pick its own visualiser style. Album screens take their colour from the cover on every source.

Roomier lists, calmer covers
Track lists run edge to edge instead of sitting on inset cards, section headings scroll away with the content, and artwork crossfades between tracks with no dark dip in the middle.

More control
Show or hide any track badge. Tap the time bar to switch between elapsed and remaining. Playlists accept the same track more than once, and every library section has sort options.

More of the app speaks your language
The Appearance and Background pickers, the visualiser settings and several server screens were still showing English in every language. They are translated now, in all nine.

Faster, lighter
Format, Album and Artist screens open faster and sit still when you do. Manual track changes are up to 2.5x quicker, large playlists open instantly, and opening a very large album no longer stalls.

  how large your library grows. Tessera pre-organizes your collection in the
  background, the same way the system music library does, so browsing never
