**Developer response:**

**Developer response:**

### 5/5 — A gift for fans of Interstellar

*2026-05-18*

The romance written in the black hole, from the idea to the design, is 5 stars.

### 4/5 — a mistake

*2026-04-11*

If there are too many words, you will not see the full content.

### 3/5 — Keyboard Vibration Latency Needs Urgent Fix

*2026-03-30*

While the UI logic and boot-up haptics are excellent, there is a significant UX issue: input latency with the keyboard vibration. This lag persists and hasn't been addressed in recent updates.

**Developer response:**

**Developer response:**

**Developer response:**

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Mac

**Developer response:** All your previous notes are free to view and edit - no payment required.
If they won't open, try:

Restarting the app
Checking iCloud sync status

Sorry for the inconvenience.

### 1/5 — Sadly it’s not a good journal

*2025-07-23*

With the latest update they have paywalled previously unlocked features.
Vertical list which is the only way to use it on the iPhone.
And even picking your own fonts is behind premium unlocks.
This app looks good but because of the devs ethics I don’t trust my memories with this developer.
It pains me to be this brutally honest about this.

**Developer response:** Hello!
Thank you so much for using Tesseract.
We’ve adjusted the Lifetime pricing based on your valuable feedback.
We truly appreciate your interest and suggestions, and we’ll continue to improve the app to provide a better experience. 😃

### 1/5 — Great design poor pricing

*2025-06-13*

I love novelties, but I don’t enjoy being taken for a ride. The app is getting a 1 star because they introduced a subscription for people who already purchased it and an outrageous new lifetime option for 26$.
Now you see this is not a great way to start as a new developer/ publisher.
All the good will and fanbase this app has built is gone me included.

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thank you for using Tesseract.
We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and completely understand your frustration.
We’ll work on improving our pricing policy. Thank you!

**Developer response:**
Tesseract
