## What is Testament?

You own a Bible. You meant to read it today.

Then you opened your phone to check one thing, and the day took it from there.

Testament holds the apps that do that, until you have read today's verse. Not as a punishment — as the thing you already decided you wanted. Then it opens them, because you did.

The verse is in your own language, and every translation is free: the King James, the American Standard and the World English Bible in English, the Reina-Valera 1909 in Spanish, the Almeida 1911 in Portuguese, the Lutherbibel 1912 in German, the Louis Segond 1910 in French, the Heilige Schrift of 1917 in Dutch, and a Korean edition. Switching never costs anything and never loses your place.

Real scripture only. No AI-written devotionals, no feed of other people's thoughts with a verse attached. Public-domain texts, named and credited.

No account and no server. Your app list never leaves your iPhone — Screen Time does the locking, and that is the only thing we ask of it.
