I’ve used it for years and have learned how to deal with it. My 2 main complaints is when you lose signal with your probs they don’t auto reconnect, you have to close out the app and then they will reconnect. And the lack of a favorite list or the ability to reorganize refrigerants like you can in the testo manifold app. If that small change could be made I could give it a higher rating. But with the amount of time I spend each day scrolling through the refrigerants list makes me want to try the fieldpiece probes. ### 2/5 — There are better apps for connecting these probs to *2021-04-29, version 6.19.0* This app is 5 years behind the competition. Its like they lost interest in the app after manufacturing the wireless probs. It needs a major update. **Developer response:** Please switch to our new Smart App in the Appstore. Your testo team! ### 3/5 — App clarity *2021-03-16, version 6.19.0* App is great, could be a little more fluid and also when attaching pictures or saved pictures from Testo devices to add on the work order, pictures are blurry and cannot read and also make out what the picture is of. Have lost hours of data when trying to export to csv. It takes a couple of minutes “generating” then nothing happens and the previous data is gone. Sometimes reports aren't always logged. Except while in the app my evap coil temp reads in Celsius and I've hey to find anywhere to change that. My pipe clamp reads in Fahrenheit so while setting valves I end up questioning my readings to set my valve off of. You guys really need to make the app settings more customizable and user friendly! Then my review would go up to 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Good idea but doesn’t always work *2018-06-28, version 6.14.0* I got my 770-3 multimeter about a month ago and liked that I could use the app to record and screenshot readings for my work. But now the temperature readings on the screen I can’t change to Fahrenheit, it always goes back to Celsius. Please fix this and why not allow the app to remember my choice of what I want to view verses having to change it every time I have to start the app. ### 1/5 — App NEEDS to improve *2018-05-02, version 6.8.0* So I have to say the probes and devices are great. Read accurately, however the app is horrible. If you rearrange the view or make any items not visible it will permanently place a sensor measurement called NONE in the measurement arrangement list. It NEVER keeps your arrangements. I have two smart probes temp sensors so I can take readings from the return and the supply at the same time. I want the Both DB readings to appear at the top followed by the WB readings, then RH. I don’t need any of the other settings. So I rearrange them to do this and set the other ones to not visible. Works great, this time. Next time I open the app, it is all disorganized again and a whole bunch of NONE listings are in the rearrange list. It is frustrating to no end. I have reached out to their tech support through email but have got no response. If they fix this I will adjust my review. ### 2/5 — Newest update removed Freon temperatures *2018-03-02, version 6.8.0* No more T/D, can’t pick or see Freon types. It refuses to run both sets of probes at the same time, making them totally useless for Commercial and Industrial units. ### 1/5 — Useless, won’t work with my Testo tools *2021-06-11, version 6.19.0* I own 8 tools and Payed fair amount for them. Only way I can use them is with MeasureQuick! Pressure gauges are accurate in MQ on test bottle and able to Zero. And also can calibrate my temperature sensors. They need to update the app to read microns off of their micron gauge, it currently only read in mercury and does not give the option for microns. Also, it’d be nice to be able to have a timed decay test feature for the 552. Extremely portable, very accurate. Learned about these at a conference and bought one that day. A real game-changer. ### 5/5 — Testo superheat set i549&i115. *2018-05-17, version 6.8.0* I use my set everyday for service work. I set mine up on my yellow jacket manifold with a ball valve between the manifold and the testo i549. I love it makes it a breeze. Also allows you to keep track of super heat and sub cooling every second. Also shows you psi vs temp and coil temps and superheat and sub cooling. #MONEYWELLSPENT THX TESTO FOR MAKING MY JOB EASIER. I HAVE MINE SET UP ON A OLD SMART PHONE BECAUSE IT KILLS MY IPHONE BATTERY. ### 5/5 — Great App! When will it be Apple Watch ready? *2017-09-02, version 5.6* I purchased these Smart Probes a while ago and love how easy to use and precise the readings are. It took a while to figure out all of the connectivity issues but all in all...they are great to have. I also love that you don't lose any refrigerant because there are no hoses. I would absolutely love it if I could see these readings on my Apple Watch. When is this feature going to happen? Also…… It would be great if I could use these gauges for a vacuum application. When can we expect to see micron measurements? ### 5/5 — Great application *2017-06-22, version 5.6* I had an issue with the app when I downloaded it but customer service was very helpful I'd guiding me to a resolution. ### 5/5 — I pad pro 9.7 *2016-09-15, version 4.7.0* After big up date on I pad pro 9.7 up to 6 probes will connect now. This is how many testo says you should be able to connect at one time. Now I can connect 6 on my I pad pro 9.7 but I can connect all of them at one time on my other I pads like pro 12.9,mini 4 and I phone 6s plus with no problems. ### 5/5 — Easy to use, great line of product. *2015-12-24, version 1.12.0* I had a chance to try the soon to be launched Smart Probes. Just turn on the app, turn on the device, and you are ready to go. Doesn't get easier than that. And you can save your readings by generating a report in Excel or PDF and e-mailing it. You can also take a screenshot and record your reading as well. Great product Testo! ### 4/5 — Handy compact tool set *2018-06-14, version 6.14.0* I have used the App and Refrigerant Probe Set for a few weeks. Most of the app is easy to use but you must maneuver through all of the screens to understand what is possible. The Probe set is extremely handy due to compact size. I carry in my backpack along with one hose in case more refrigerant tasks are needed. I also added service fitting tee with No-Loss fitting to my pressure probes. No frostbite. Recommendations: 1. That the Application Selection menu have a custom version. 2. Fix the AC & Refrigeration application because the Evap and Cond Saturation Temperatures will only show in degrees Celsius. I set Fahrenheit and PSI but can’t change the other two. 3. Permit ability to add two more sensors while using AC & Refrigeration so that other temperatures can be measured. Got me up and running when I had questions. **Developer response:** Please use the Button in the upper right corner in the App. PLease use the first line with the the arrow to the right.
