## What is Texas DPS Permit Prep?

Study the reasoning behind Texas road rules and signs with independent Class C knowledge practice.

Texas DPS Permit Prep offers 100 original questions across seven selected topics: right-of-way and turns, passing and lane use, speed and conditions, school buses and shared roads, licensing and responsible driving, signs and markings, and signals and crossings.

Read explanations, follow official Texas Department of Public Safety source links, choose topic counts, resume unfinished sessions and track progress on your device. Three original road-sign schematics support visual recognition. Practice is untimed by default with optional study timing.

Content works offline on iPhone and iPad; external source links need internet. No account, subscription, advertising or AI tutor.

Texas DPS handles driver licensing, not TxDMV. The DPS handbook requires 70 percent or better on a knowledge exam. This app does not reproduce official questions or claim to simulate the exact exam length or timing. Requirements differ for teen learners, provisional drivers and adults. Approved driver education, applicable Impact Texas Drivers completion, supervised driving, vision, documents and a skills test are separate from app practice.

Selected practice does not cover the complete handbook, every licensing exception, equipment rule, penalty or practical maneuver. Not CDL or motorcycle preparation. Read the current DPS handbook and check official requirements for your circumstances.

Independent study aid. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Texas DPS, TxDMV or any government agency.
