Only $3 but still disappointed it wouldn’t work. Also, couldn’t locate markers by zip code which would have been convenient. ### 1/5 — Warning-scam-app does not work *2025-06-20, version 1.2.10* I purchased the app a Month ago and it has never once worked using the map view. I emailed the developer and never received a reply. Unfortunately it crashes when doing almost anything + major lag on tap-to-screen interactions (including keyboard typing). Please consider an update or fix! 🙏🏼 ### 1/5 — None of the historic markers were on the map *2022-10-09, version 1.2.9* Driving down the highways of TX for the last two days and literally none of the historic markers we passed we in this app. Waste of money. Plus it crashes when I try to refresh the map. ### 4/5 — Really good except “nearest markers” *2022-05-02, version 1.2.9* This is a really great app! Only issue is with location. After first installing it would never show my location. After deleting the app and reinstalling it will show my current location but the “Nearest Markers” option always returns “Cannot find - check that location services is enabled” - which of course it is. Tried toggling between “Always” and “When Using App” but no love. But I generally use the Geographic Regions mode which works great. And have learned a lot of Texas History! Interestingly when using the map in Geographic Regions mode, the app has no problem showing where I am on the map! ### 1/5 — Ugh! *2021-11-06, version 1.2.9* Can’t look up by marker number. OLD SAN ANTONIO ROAD MARKERS In 1918, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the State of Texas surveyed and marked the Texas portion of the Old San Antonio Road. Pink granite markers were placed at approximately five mile intervals from the Sabine River all the way to the Rio Grande. Most of these 100-year-old markers still exist today. Data updates in progress for these markers include but are not limited to: Streets and/or street addresses; zip codes; cities and communities; location conditions MARKER DETAILS Scroll down in the marker detail view for more information about the marker’s location such as: which side of the road; whether one of those brown signs (called early warning signs) is present; and whether the marker is visible using Google’s Street View. Coordinate data will start to indicate how reliable the coordinate is. (A future app update will allow users to submit this information via iCloud.)
