## What is Texas Hold'em Advisor?

Texas Hold'em Advisor is a training tool. Set up any hand, deal it street by street, and see what the maths actually says — not a rule of thumb.

WHAT IT TELLS YOU

• Your share of the pot, and the share you need for a call to be correct
• How often you win, chop and lose, over every card still to come
• What to do — fold, check, call or raise — and for how much
• Why, in plain English, with the arithmetic shown

WHY THE NUMBERS ARE DIFFERENT

Your odds are worked out against the hands your opponent could actually hold, not against a random hand. That distinction matters more than anything else in the app. Somebody who raised from early position is not holding a random hand, and treating them as though they were will talk you into calls that are drawing nearly dead.

Before the flop, the advice comes from solver-derived opening and defending ranges, indexed by seat and table size. Under 22 big blinds it switches to an all-in-or-fold equilibrium, because at that depth raising small and folding to a reraise stops making sense.

TWO WAYS TO USE IT

Basic: choose your cards, then the flop, the turn and the river. It tells you what to do. Nothing else to set up.

Advanced: set what every player did, what they bet, their stack and how loosely they play. Deal specific cards to specific seats to see exactly how a hand plays out, and step back a street to try a different card.

TOURNAMENTS

Tournament chips are not cash. A chip won is worth less than a chip lost, because your stack converts into prize money on a curve. The app models this and will tell you when a call that wins chips still loses money.

HONEST ABOUT ITS LIMITS

Opponent ranges are a model, and real players deviate from it. Where a published chart and the arithmetic disagree, the app shows you both rather than hiding the disagreement — the reason for it is usually the interesting part of the hand.

NO GAMBLING

There is no wagering, no real money, no virtual currency, no prizes and no link to any gambling service. Nothing in this app can be bet. It is a study tool for learning the game away from the table.

PRIVACY

Nothing is collected. No account, no analytics, no network requests. Every calculation runs on your device.
