I would love to hit all of the Texas Bark Ranger parks but it’s a lot of cross-referencing in social media groups to find them. All the state parks in one concise app, with info and maps about each, as well as links and contact info to make reservations! I’m so glad I found this! One thing that might be added is a way to keep track of parks you’ve already visited. Maybe even just a check mark or checklist. Another change I’d make is to add more filters. For instance 50 amp and 30 amp camp sites. Adding user input on parks would be nice. To make or view any reservations it redirects you to the website through a browser. Even the website sucked. I have to enter my truck and trailer info every time I make a reservation instead of saving it for the future. I went to check my already made reservations and cannot login to my account from any screen that appears! I read another review saying if I “make reservations” I can find it! Seriously, this app needs a major revamp for easier use. It gives all the rules and fees to cancel or change a camping reservation, but no link to get where you need to go to do so. It is useless. Also , the folks at the location where you want to cancel can’t assist unless it is the day of the reservation. After that you’re on your own. I haven’t found where I can look up my reservations, dates or anything unless I log in using laptop. I’m a senior and wanted to be sure to reserve a sight before I drive to location. Wanted to get my senior discount but no way to do it unless I get there while the guard shack is open. Also wanted to print out my pass abs reservation before arriving but not able to. Map gives view of all the parks in state of texas. Reserve on line, allows you to see all sites available or specific site. There is an event page that shows all the park events. Its brilliant for finding parks out of your own local area. The trail maps can be slightly confusing but that might be our fault.
