### 3/5 — ??? No Update

*2023-03-01*

Ok had this app for awhile, but decided to see if there was an update
Nope according to the update thing been a year since last update
Not sure what has happened ???
Had a TX concealed permit since 1996

### 4/5 — Great community but slow searching

*2021-12-29, version 3.4.3*

The app concept is great, along with the ability to post and update reviews (incl. with pictures), and the moderator works swiftly to either approve posting entries or tell the user why the posting/comment wasn’t published. However, the app is super slow when searching for businesses and switching the search bar from business name to city search. The app also crashes frequently, esp. when tapping on certain businesses to look at their profiles. A bit of tinkering to make the app more stable would go a long way.

### 4/5 — Very helpful app

*2021-06-16, version 3.4.0*

Great app, not perfect but overall it’s a very useful tool.

### 4/5 — Great help!

*2021-05-08, version 3.4.0*

I appreciate the information the app gives. Being aware ahead of time helps make informed decisions. My wife and I have not gone to businesses listed as 3006 & 3007 at least a half dozen times. My only issue with the app is the variable sensitivity of the proximity notification. I have it set to 300 ft for 90 seconds. I have had notifications pop up as I drive on the freeway at the speed limit. That’s not the norm but often enough to be a bit annoying. Nevertheless, it’s a great app!

### 4/5 — OK, but missing filters?

*2020-11-09, version 3.3.0*

Update 11/9/20: Thanks to developer for quick response to my review/suggestion! I remember old filter, but hope something better can be implemented. Old filter was still difficult to filter out 07 signs... i.e. I had to filter 06 only, then 06/07, then 51%... I think a way to filter OUT would be useful, e.g. filter OUT 07 so I can see 06 only, 06/07, and 51% locations all in a list or on map.

Original review:
Can’t find filter to only see entries that prohibit concealed carry. The more entries made in database, the more cluttered map/list become. I don’t care about 07 signs, so need a way to filter them out. Used to be able to filter but can’t see where to do than in this version. Please let me know if I’m just missing where it is.

### 4/5 — Useful

*2020-03-14, version 3.2.3*

The proximity alert is very useful. It just needs more time to add businesses to its data list.

### 5/5 — Use this to choose where i spend my money!

*2019-12-01, version 3.2.3*

Love this app. We have been using this to x out food establishments and grocers with 30-06. Open carry i understand and am on the fence. Conceal, nope i am not your customer. Features are great, maps are accurate, developer is responsive. Great app wish we could leave extra stars.

### 5/5 — Excellent App!

*2019-09-11, version 3.1.7*

Very well built app. Thank you for working so hard on this!

### 5/5 — Amazing App

*2019-03-01, version 3.1.3*

This app is amazing! However, it needs to be updated and this is why the more people use it the better for everyone!

### 5/5 — Must have for everyday carriers

*2019-02-22, version 3.1.3*

I use this app daily. Nothing worse that having to walk all the way back to your car to store your firearm because you didn’t see the sign when you were parking. It also helps me to choose which companies I frequent.

### 5/5 — New to Texas

*2018-12-27, version 3.1.3*

As a new resident with a LTC this app has been helpful. Wish more people in Killeen would post.

Can’t sign in or create a new profile

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2026-05-03, version 3.4.3*

Signed me out and won’t let me sign back in only noticed because I went to add a location. Shane the app used to be so good

### 1/5 — Quit working

*2026-03-28, version 3.4.3*

Used to be great app. No longer works

### 1/5 — Was awesome in the past

*2026-03-24, version 3.4.3*

Looks like nothing is loading anymore. This was awesome in the past and it helped me stay legal. Hopefully support comes back on this and fixes the issues.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore

*2026-03-20, version 3.4.3*

Was an awesome app, but looks like it’s not running anymore. No locations show up or anything.

### 1/5 — No longer works

*2026-03-14, version 3.4.3*

Non-operational as of early 2026 it seems

### 1/5 — Useless

*2017-03-27, version 2.1.1*

Doent alert you to anything. Adding a place is never allowed by the "moderator" so he/she dictates whats seen. Wasteful and deceptive app when its information based for lawful entry.

### 2/5 — ??? No Update

*2025-02-13, version 3.4.3*

Ok had this app for awhile, but decided to see if there was an update
Nope according to the update thing been a 3 years since last update
Not sure what has happened ???
Had a TX concealed permit since 1996
...
Did the developers abandon the app ??
3 years with no update 🙄
The has too have been abandoned
🤔 ??? How can a BLIND man pass the target shooting
The blind review is old as well but he’s worried about going into a place that has one or both signs 😂 lol
I’m more scared of him shooting innocent people
If he’s totally blind I’m still trying to figure out how he got a permit
Don’t care that he’s a lawyer I still don’t see (pun intended) how he passed the test to carry
Next he’ll say he also has a TX driver’s license 🤣 rofl

### 2/5 — List shows one status, entry shows another.

*2022-12-09, version 3.4.3*

When I look at an entry on the list view, it might show Valid but the individual entry shows Invalid or the other way around. Don’t know which one is correct.

### 2/5 — App instructions incorrect

*2020-03-15, version 3.2.3*

The info link states Spanish verbiage not specified in Penal Code. This is false; the code specifically states the 30.06 and 30.07 signage must be in both English and Spanish.

### 5/5 — Love this!

*2025-09-26, version 3.4.3*

Works well but I have to delete and download often otherwise it stops working.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2024-06-11, version 3.4.3*

Hello,

I downloaded this app a few weeks ago and have found it very helpful for checking carry locations. I also enjoy adding or updating locations to help everyone else out.

I would like the ability to crop photos in the details section of a business as sometimes the signs do get cut off making them difficult or impossible to see. The ability to tap on the photos to make them full screen would also be much appreciated.

Thank you for a great app!

### 5/5 — Accessible for the blind and visually impaired

*2022-04-17, version 3.4.3*

First off, this is not a joke review. I am completely blind and my wife is cited. We are both licensed to carry and one of the problems that I have being blind is the inability to see the signs. As an license holder, even though I am blind, I am still bound by the same responsibility as everyone else. As an attorney, I certainly don’t wanna get in trouble by entering a place that may have one of the signs. This app gives me the independence to be able to get an alert before I enter the facility plus saves me the embarrassment of having to ask the staff or to disclose that I have a concealed carry license let alone a concealed firearm. I do wonder if it might be possible to develop a separate Apple Watch app so that an individual who carries the Apple Watch as their primary alert notification would be able to use the watch without the phone. This being said, kudos to developer they obviously read their voice over documentation to make it screen reader accessible! Absolutely five stars across the board.

### 5/5 — $$$

*2021-02-19, version 3.4.0*

Love this app mainly so that when I have my license I will get alerts and it will help me to know where to spend my money... and which stores/restaurants not to spend money at

### 5/5 — Texas3006

*2020-07-31, version 3.2.8*

Excellent app, wish I’d found this along time ago. Saves from the hassle of having to walk all the way back to your car just because you come across one of these ridiculous 30-06 signs.

Now I can also more efficiently plan my day, and avoid spending money at these locations to begin with.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2020-05-05, version 3.2.4*

I love this app, I just wish more people would use it on a continuous bases so that way it gets more attention. Please continue to give this app attention it deserves.

### 5/5 — Very useful for LTC folks

*2020-03-22, version 3.2.3*

Very useful with updated and well maintained data. Helps me avoid having to do business with anti-Second Amendment business owners!

### 5/5 — Great AP

*2020-01-26, version 3.2.3*

It’s nice to know before I get there.

### 5/5 — Highest Credibility

*2020-01-03, version 3.2.3*

Strong & active user base. Inputs subject to verification.
