It’ll pop up and you say yes and it’s done. Good if you want to write it beforehand and not send it. 3 stars because if you’re just using it to auto send a text then you have to pay monthly. They should really have an upgrade to automatically send the text if they have to charge, not a monthly fee. It’s just too much to justify for such a small thing. ### 4/5 — Free version is still very helpful *2021-08-15, version 0.9* Yes you have to pay for it to send the texts automatically, BUT I find it super helpful to schedule the text, the reminder pops up at that time, you go into the app, hit send yourself, and the message sends. Created a message. All is well. Husband recommended I schedule a text for his phone to make sure service works and no message ever came through to his phone!! As far as I’m concerned app can not be trusted for job. Immediately deleted and will just set my clock to paste message to boss. When you select (and pay for!) the option to “send automatically” All this does is give me an alert that it’s time to send the message I already typed. Then I have to click the alert and hit send. Not saving any time or actually doing it for me. At least I thought that would happen but no, just like the others, it sends a notification that it’s time to send the text and to hit send. Why pay for a subscription if I have to send it myself? I can get one of the free apps to remind me to send the text. Or just write myself a note and copy and paste to the text and send. Disappointed. I’m looking for something that I can prep a text then have it sent automatically without my having to do anything beyond set up a time and text. So I canceled my subscription and I’m uninstalling. Otherwise nice simple ui app and I would have loved to use it if it sent automatically. The numbers are for customers I don’t necessarily need to store in my contacts. I scheduled twenty texts and everything was fine with that part. But, when I got the reminder and hit Send, I had to re-enter every number because none of them are in my contacts. There is now no point to using this app for my business. ### 3/5 — On the right track, got it to work *2019-11-10, version 0.8.1* Sometimes the texts don’t go through at correct time, but overall this is very useful app! Suggestion: messages that have already been sent are saved, and when you select a saved text then the “edit” button doesn’t allow you to resend at again at diff time. She currently had the ‘Chemo Brain’. This app seemed the most user friendly, however. I cannot get my signature to stay saved in the app. The receivers still see pretty much sent by Later. For my Chemo Fogged mother, this can be confusing. Any insight to getting this fixed? Thank you! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-06-25, version 1.0* I tried to schedule a text to be sent in the early morning While I’d still be asleep, and in the morning nothing was sent, and it said it was ‘overdue’ clearly expecting me to manually push a button at the scheduled time to actually send the “scheduled” message. What a crazy scam. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2024-06-29, version 1.0* It said my scheduled text was “overdue.” It was overdue because this failure of software engineering didn’t send it… but it was made well enough to tell you that it didn’t do what it was supposed to. They might as well put pictures of their dung on the App Store. At least that would waste less of my time. ### 1/5 — Text never sent *2022-07-18, version 1.0* It’s not reliable. I set the text up and it says “overdue” never was sent. ### 1/5 — Do not buy this app. *2022-05-01, version 1.0* The texts send at the right time but they send from a random number. So the person gets your text from a random number. So I tried to cancel it. There is no way to cancel. I tried emailing support and the message won’t send. It’s grey-Ed out. There is no Number to call. I’m going to flip out if they charge my card. This is a scam. You can’t have someone sign up to try a 7 day trial and then give them no possible way to cancel. ### 1/5 — Stay away. Horrible customer service. *2022-01-10, version 0.9* So I have used this app in the past. It worked good enough that I decided to purchase the annual subscription again. Well, when I bought the annual subscription it still said I needed to upgrade in order to use the “send automatically” for text messages. I contacted customer support via email (because that’s the only option available) and told them my problem. Nick responded and asked me for the email associated with the account. It had been so long since I had last used the app that I forgot which email I had used but I knew it was one of three different emails. I send him those email addresses (explaining that I had forgot which one) and waited for a response. There was no profile section in the app that would tell me which email. I ended up logging out of the app and then tried to do a “forgot username” and “forgot password” but there is no option to recover. I never heard back from support. I followed up with a couple of emails but no answer back. So now I am in the process of reporting and getting my $60.00 back. Pretty ridiculous. I would stay away from this app until these types of problems are solved. ### 1/5 — Scam *2021-09-26, version 0.9* No auto send works please report this app to apple. I’d love to see this expand to lots of other ways to send/post stuff later. It’s ideal for my organized style!! I say all the time this app makes me a better friend!! I often work overnights & have to send multiple people texts when they come on in the morning. This app shows me to write the texts throughout the night. Then just as my shift ends I get a notification to send those texts. No auto-send means I can review that 3am text for clarity before I send it. So, the no paywall version of this app did my needs perfectly. Also I saw several reviews saying the text comes from an unknown number. Perhaps that was the case with a previous version, or with the paywall version? When I open the app, I have to select the text I want to send, then press the send button. That then transfers the recipient and text I previously filled out to the Messages app, and the text is sent when I press send there. But the paid version is not good at all, the sms would be send, but the receiver would see a different number. ### 5/5 — Simple app that works *2016-01-27, version 0.7* I see these whiny reviews and I think they were just confused when they downloaded the app. It clearly states in the description that the free version does not auto send, but it does make it easy to write the text while you're thinking about it (say 1am because you can't sleep and forgot to tell a coworker about an important update) and the give you a reminder to send at a more reasonable hour without having to retype the text.
