The great story line makes it a gem even. But recently I’ve had multiple problems with crashings and paying. It crashes at least every 20 minutes. And if I buy small in-game purchases, they will not come through. Also purchased a weekly subscription which I had to cancel because after the week it didn’t automatically renewed my advantages. It did however take the money from my account. When trying to write to support, first thing I read is that when a purchase has been made, it might take up to an hour (?!) to come through. Not the case with me. Then they ask some sort of number and a screen shot. Can’t find this number and I have no clue how to make a screen shot. Let alone to send it to support. The app will show the same bonus multiple times over the course of a day, and will then reset the status back to day 1 the very next day. That’s a disincentive, not an incentive to play on a daily basis. ### 3/5 — Rip off *2026-03-04, version 45.2.5* I was enjoying the game and decided to take up the offer of the weekly golden ticket with a 3 day trial. I got all the benefits for the 3 days then they took my money, yes it was only $5, but the benefits stopped as soon as the trial ended. I have left 2 messages on the support page in the game and sent an email and have had no response. It’s 5 days since they took the money so should have been sorted by now. I have cancelled the subscription, but it seems like they just want your money with no customer support or giving you what you paid for. ### 2/5 — No update in years *2026-02-22, version 45.2.5* Used to be one of my favorite word games. I think you should have a resume button on the tips. The rest of the game is fun and challenging. I like the fact that you can start a word and then back out of it completely including the first letter. ### 3/5 — can't obtain progress *2026-01-02, version 45.2.1* I love this game and have been playing it for years. but I recently got a new phone and I tried to log in to Facebook and it says that feature is unavailable :( unfortunately I'm not willing to start over because I've spent money on the game and have a lot of progress. kwalee support has been unresponsive as well. :( ### 2/5 — It’s Okay, But… *2025-12-23* It’s not a bad word search game, not challenging, they just added in some story stuff to it. They have pretend teams you can “join” that don’t do anything or give you bonuses even if your team “wins” the week. You see the usual sad people on the individual side who play WAY too much, where it’s like so far past the point of a score you should be proud of, and just “oh, sweetie… I’m so sorry for whatever is/isn’t going on in your life and I truly hope it turns around for you soon”. They have promotions and events you can’t be a part of unless you pay, pretty standard stuff, but you can play regular things without paying all you want. You can’t tell what words you’ve already played until you’re penalized for them which is annoying. But all in all it’s pretty good, I liked it for a quick diversion. Gets boring pretty quickly though unless you’re really easily amused. ### 4/5 — Please make this playable without WiFi connection *2025-10-05, version 45.2.1* Could you please make it to where I can play this offline? I really love the story concept throughout this game. I say that in the past tense because the update they did several weeks ago created tons of bugs and even though they’ve been told about them, they do nothing. The daily bonus does not work. Plus the team thing gives you a pop-up saying you can’t do it. I still play every day, but I do not make any purchases and I do not watch any ads. If others are doing the same, this is gonna die as slow death. In the game, it shows it is done by just nine talented people, but perhaps they need more talent. And you can ignore their stupid answer, saying I should reach out to them. As if I didn’t already do that countless times. I had a ticket open for two or three months and they kept responding that they’re working on it but clearly they Aren’t. They even went so far as to tell me to go ahead and play one of their other games while I was waiting on this one to be fixed. I have no faith that any of their games are given their full attention. Here’s the problem though…the game penalizes you for using a word that you’ve used before OR using a word that’s not in its dictionary. And there are quite a few REAL words (dictionary words) that are apparently not in its dictionary. It’s very frustrating when you put in a word that you’ve used in everyday speaking only to find that the game doesn’t recognize it. A solution could be to only penalize for repeat words, or to have an option to instantly send a penalized word off to be checked and if it is found to be acceptable, add it to the dictionary. ### 3/5 — VERY basic *2025-08-09, version 45.2.1* If you have anything beyond the most rudimentary reading skills this not for you. This is only for very young children. I have stopped playing that part of the game but did enjoy the separate wordle game. I loved that I could see how others did as well. BUT, now you have ruined the wordle challenge as well by giving letter answers for watching ads. It has connection issues when clearly there’s Wi-Fi and I’m very confused. And no explanation on how to get diamonds except for the constant pop up ads of their own on buying things to use. Which would be great if I just knew what they were for, but again evidently you are just supposed to know. I tied for over 5 days off and on, but the game just got weirder with no explanations that I could find. ### 1/5 — Changes are horrible *2024-11-29, version 41.0.0* I hate everything about today’s changes to the user interface. Icons are now too small and spread all over the place, so you have to make much broader movements to tap the right buttons. Everything directly related to play (the map, travel button, the indicator for how much you had left in your xp wallet) used to be conveniently grouped together at the bottom middle of the screen. I don’t know who had the bright idea to separate it all out like this and make everything smaller, but it’s horrible. I doubt I can stand to keep playing with it like this now, and frankly there’s not much point anymore anyway, since you never actually bother to update the story.
