Also, just like most of the other txt2voice Apps like this one, the playback sounds Robotic and unnatural. And it seemed to limit the number of characters it would allow? Anyways, it wasn’t the worst app I’ve tried but not good enough to entice me to want to pay for it. ### 2/5 — Misleading *2023-09-29, version 2.6.1* I was looking for a good TTS app that had good natural sounding voices and I found this one. Unfortunately all the voices sounded too robotic. I find the built-in Apple text to speech voices to be pretty good these days, so this is a waste of money. Also, on the free version, at least, it does not seem to continue to read when the screen is turned off. This app is much more better for longer text because the voices sound more like real person talking. I paste a whole email and it read it back to me which is nice. One thing though, some buttons are a bit small on my phone and I need to tap two times sometimes.. also when I switch between the pages it flash white for a second which is a little anoying.
