you can not change the language or choose a different voice. its either 1 male or 1 female voice.

I installed this app, and I’m having problems with it. Here is what happens:
1. I pasted in some text.
2. I press the play button.
3. I hear only one word of the text.
4. I press the pause button, then the play button.
5. I hear only one more word of text.
6. This pattern repeats itself.
7. I close and reopen the app, but that doesn’t help. When the first page comes up, with an enlarged version of the app icon on a white screen, a spinning, eight-spoked busy wheel spins at the bottom.
8. I’ll leave the app alone, but it keeps spinning, and never goes to the main screen.
9. I uninstalled and reinstall the app.
10. Then I pasted it in some text, it played it successfully.
11. When I pasted in some other text, the problem of playback of a single word recurs.

I can’t find a way to make this app work as it is supposed to. There seems to be a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

Opened the app (did the unlock) tried the male voice, tried the female voice. Went back to the male voice and its stuck on female. So, I Closed the app in a bid to reset, re opened the app to be presented with a loading screen. So im now unable to use the app.  IPhone 7+  iOS 15.

You cannot select your language or the speed and tone as described in the description; You can only select a male or a female voice. All conversion seems to happen on the phone using Apple‘s standard voice to text (i.e it works in airplane mode). I doubt any artificial intelligence is involved at all. The only way to get text into the app is through copy and paste, which I don’t consider to be an easy way to enter text from things such as e-books or websites, etc.

I wish you had an option that would allow you to change different voices.
But overall, it’s good.
