So I spent $10 to change my number to an American number hoping it would work. It did not. Texter app offers anonymous VoIP phone numbers for private calling and texting, but US laws restrict receiving messages from anonymous phone numbers. If other app providers allow texting services to US numbers, they are either breaking the law or using users' data to register the phone numbers, which means the texting is not anonymous. Please trust us that we wish to allow texting to US numbers as much as you do, but we cannot. If you experience any issues while calling US numbers, please get in touch with our customer support directly via the app, and we will help you resolve the issue. Generates ‘INVALID PHONE NUMBER’ error! *2025-08-29* I spent $3.99 and attempted to receive sms verification from two different sources, and BOTH triggered the exact same error: “Please Enter Valid Number.” I want my $3.99 refunded so that I can throw it the trash, because that would be a better investment in comparison to this garbage!!!
