Especially trying to get it to save a document. At first I couldn’t even get it to just overwrite the existing document, so I ended up with multiple copies and had to delete the ones I didn’t want. Then, suddenly it decided it COULD overwrite the old document, and everything seemed fine. I chocked it up to just not being familiar with the app. Then this morning I was working on changes to a story I’m writing for over three hours, and constantly pressing the “save” button. I pressed it once more before closing the document and exiting the program. Now, a few hours later I go back to do some more work on my story, and everything I did earlier is missing, as if I never even touched it this morning, and I’m going to have to try to remember all the changes I made and recreate the ideas I had all over again. Why can’t there be a simple word processor for a tablet that just works? I just want to type words and save what I typed. A nice effort, but it needs refinement. Dafür vielen Dank, den Entwicklern! Ein großes Aber: der Support ist schlecht und antwortet nicht, weder auf Mail-Anfragen noch im Forum. Und: Will man ein Foto in Textmaker ersetzen, geht das prinzipiell. Aber die Ersetzen-Funktion erlaubt keinen Zugriff auf die Fotogalerie. Man muss also erst das Foto in die Dateien-App verschieben, um es von dort einzufügen. Aber selbst wenn man das tut, scheint die Funktion von dort einen Defekt zu haben.
