Dafür vielen Dank, den Entwicklern! Ein großes Aber: der Support ist schlecht und antwortet nicht, weder auf Mail-Anfragen noch im Forum. Und: Will man ein Foto in Textmaker ersetzen, geht das prinzipiell. Aber die Ersetzen-Funktion erlaubt keinen Zugriff auf die Fotogalerie. Man muss also erst das Foto in die Dateien-App verschieben, um es von dort einzufügen. Aber selbst wenn man das tut, scheint die Funktion von dort einen Defekt zu haben. Ebenso empfinde die app als sehr gute Alternative für MS Word. ### 5/5 — Endlich fühlt sich das IPad M1 wie ein Notebook an. *2025-05-04, version 1225.0422* Ich ärgere mich ständig über die unprofessionelle Spielzeugversion, die Microsoft unter dem Namen „Word“ auf dem IPad vertreibt. Lange habe ich nach ernstzunehmenden Alternativen gesucht und bin mehr zufällig beim Stöbern im Appstore über den guten alten TextMaker gestolpert und habe ihn sofort ausprobiert - und war von der ersten Minute an begeistert. Wie so viele, die hier Bewertungen geschrieben haben, bin ich überhaupt kein Freund von Abo-Modellen. Aber zum einen hat die Antwort von SoftMaker durchaus etwas und zum anderen bin ich sehr gerne bereit, 14,95 € pro Jahr für drei hervorragende und professionelle Programme zu zahlen, wenn mir das ermöglicht, mein IPad endlich als ernstzunehmende Alternative zum MacBook (zumindest, was diese Aufgaben angeht) verwenden zu können. ### 3/5 — Wenn es kein Abo wäre *2025-03-22, version 1223.0116* Für mich wäre Textmaker eine Alternative. Ich bin kein privater oder beruflicher Vielschreiber und finde das Design ansprechender als andere Textprogramme. Allerdings ist ein Abo keine Alternative für mich. Ich würde einen Kaufpreis für angemessen halten aber kein Abo. Daher bleibe ich in der freien Version die auch schon eingeschränkt brauchbar ist. Ich habe keine Ahnung wie Softmaker das hinbekommen hat, aber die Apps sind ein Traum. Ein wirklich vollwertiges Office. Klare Empfehlung ### 2/5 — Anwenderunfreundlich schränkt Verwendung ein. *2025-02-22, version 1223.0116* Zunächst das positive: Die Anwendung hat einen großen Leistungsumfang. Nun zu den für mich derzeit bestehenden Schwachstellen: Leider ist die Verwendung schwierig. Ein Dokument wird in Vollansicht aufgerufen. Dies bewirkt, dass Schrift unleserlich ist. Auch ist das Einsetzen von Inhalten aus der Zwischenablage ausgesprochen filigran und frustriert in der Handhabung. Erst nach mehreren Versuchen Ist ein einsetzen erfolgreich. Ich habe auch schon verzweifelt abgebrochen. Einen Schreibmodus, der die Oberfläche des Mobiltelefons optimal genutzt, konnte ich noch nicht finden. Die in der Desktop App vorhandene Duden Korrektur habe ich auch noch nicht gefunden. Damit eignet sich diese App nicht zur Schnell-Korrektur von E-Mails vor Versendung. And here it is. Especially trying to get it to save a document. At first I couldn’t even get it to just overwrite the existing document, so I ended up with multiple copies and had to delete the ones I didn’t want. Then, suddenly it decided it COULD overwrite the old document, and everything seemed fine. I chocked it up to just not being familiar with the app. Then this morning I was working on changes to a story I’m writing for over three hours, and constantly pressing the “save” button. I pressed it once more before closing the document and exiting the program. Now, a few hours later I go back to do some more work on my story, and everything I did earlier is missing, as if I never even touched it this morning, and I’m going to have to try to remember all the changes I made and recreate the ideas I had all over again. Why can’t there be a simple word processor for a tablet that just works? I just want to type words and save what I typed. I do not understand why it is just not as functional free of charge in IOS version ### 1/5 — Auf dem iPhone unbrauchbar *2024-03-01, version 1211.0220* Den TextMaker fand ich eine interessante Alternative mit Potenzial zu Word auf meinem Windows PC, was mich zum Kauf einer SoftMaker Office NX Lizenz veranlasste. Nach der Installation auf dem iPhone 15 Pro Max nun die Ernüchterung. Die Benutzung der Textverarbeitung auf dem iPhone ist eine Zumutung. Kein Vergleich mit dem Original von Microsoft. Ich wünsche mir nur noch ein besseres Theme im Dark Mode, welches auch wirklich richtig „Dark“ ist wie es auch am normalen Rechner aussieht. D.h. richtig schwarz / anthrazit. I hope this is developed regulary. ### 5/5 — Just works!! *2025-10-24* I used SoftMaker’s FreeOffice products on my Windows PC’s for years before my organization required me to install Microsoft 365 products on them. With my 365 license I also installed Microsoft products on my iPad Pro as well which I sometimes use as a backup laptop. In recent months 365 products have been come unusably buggy and glitchy, so I downloaded SoftMaker’s products to try. They work wonderfully! Exact same experience as on Windows. Very user friendly, detailed instructions on how to use, clean interface, very snappy and responsive. Bottom line they just WORK when I need them to, every time! (Unlike 365, which is pathetic given SoftMaker’s budget vs. Microsoft’s budget.)
