## What is TextReel?

Bring your words to life with TextReel. Create animated text videos and standalone voiceovers, with your content processed on your device.

FROM WORDS TO VIDEO
Type, paste or import a TXT or Markdown file. Preview imported text, then replace your current content or append it. Markdown is imported as plain text with its original markup. Automatically split your script into editable scenes, adjust their order and timing, and create quote videos, explainers, stories or product messages.

MAKE IT YOURS
Choose text animations and fonts. Adjust text size, color, position and alignment. Use built-in backgrounds or import a picture with crop, zoom and dark overlay controls. Create in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9, then review your video with timeline controls, scene navigation and looping.

FIND YOUR VOICE
Choose from three free built-in voices: two Mandarin voices (female and male) and one English female voice. Generate narration directly on your device without recording a voice. Built-in voices support their corresponding language; for mixed-language text, choose Automatic System Voice.

Use automatic narration or choose and preview a system voice available on your device. Use the same voice in videos and standalone M4A audio. Turn up to 3,000 characters into a voiceover. Create a custom voice using your own recording or one you have explicit permission to use. Available system voices vary by device and language.

SAVE YOUR STYLE AND YOUR WORK
Save up to 20 personal style templates, duplicate them to make variations, and reuse your visual settings with new text. Keep projects, videos and audio on your device. Browse your work, rename files, play completed media and share exported files. Export videos as H.264 MP4 or save them to Photos.

TRY BEFORE EXPORTING
Text editing, layout, all three aspect ratios, system voice selection, text import and personal templates are free. You can also create custom voices and generate full video and audio previews in the app for free. TextReel Pro is required to export files using premium animations, fonts, backgrounds, picture backgrounds, watermark removal or custom voices, and to access full project history. Free configurations can be exported without a subscription.

Your text, reference recordings, voice profiles and generated media are processed locally. TextReel does not upload this content for processing.
