The notifications are great but don’t always have the full quote if it’s a long one and if I view yesterdays quote I can’t see todays too. Also noticing a lot of repeats lately. However, I would like to have the ability to favorite quotes within the app and then revisit them. It is cool that the app connects to Facebook, but I don’t always want to share there. I would love to see more functionality inside the app. Also, I would like to see more quotes—I have been getting duplicate quotes lately. Maybe a function that would rotate through the founders could be implemented. **Developer response:** Hello, you will be pleased to see that version 7.0 addresses the points you bring up. You can now easily save bookmarks and there is a new option to get quotes from any of the founders instead of just one. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Just too frustrating *2021-01-22* So you get a notification on your phone showing part of a quote and you tap on it and then it disappears and you can’t finish the quote. And the quote that does show up has an image of a founder that’s not a very good likeness and you have no idea who uttered the quotation. There is no way to make the quote stay as long as you want, no way to research an App & no way to bookmark a quote you might like. There are great quotes but sometimes they will repeat after a few more had appeared. I was looking for an App that would let me look up quotes by author or content this does not do either. ### 3/5 — Informative *2013-01-23, version 3.0* This is an informative app. What I don't like is if you select to receive alerts you are sent a quote and it's usually a great quote or statement there isn't a way to retrieve it. Then when you use the app you only get what they choose to give you. There is no other option to change founding fathers.
