### 1/5 — Garbage app, stop asking for registration, data etc

*2025-12-07, version 2.0.5*

Completely unnecessary useless app

### 1/5 — This app is a POS

*2025-12-06*

This app is terrible a lot of issues, doesn’t work at all as Ireland transportation disgusting

### 1/5 — No 102 bus option

*2025-11-22*

Impossible to buy certain bus routes even tho I see the bus right in front of me

### 1/5 — Ticketbuchung funktioniert nicht

*2025-09-30, version 2.0.5*

Wenn man die Tickets bezahlt hat werden diese dennoch nicht geladen und es kommt nur „unknown error“. Die ganze App ist so unfassbar schlecht, das es einfach nur peinlich ist. Mein Hund könnte die App besser programmieren

### 1/5 — Not good

*2025-09-11, version 2.0.5*

I can Login with Apple, but cannot use Apple Pay! Not usable for more than one person or families

### 1/5 — Pretty Useless for buying a bus ticket in Limerick

*2025-07-18*

You need to know who runs to busses in your area. There are so many choices (15). How would I know what company runs the local city buses in Limerick that I would like to use. Used a lot of transit apps on our 4 month Europe trip. This is the first one that was completely useless! Even the website wasn’t helpful.

### 1/5 — Outdated.

*2025-06-28, version 2.0.5*

Work needs to be done on this website even the little
Things like payment, just make it Apple Pay it is so clunky and inconvenient. Also was really bad at understanding how to get somewhere and overall some time needs to be made to improve this app! Very poor

### 1/5 — Bus did not take ticket

*2025-06-16*

What the other review said lol. I bought a ticket, asked the bus driver if he would take it, and he seemed to have no idea what it was. “What is that? Show it to me.” I did and he told me he would not take it. So I paid him.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work for buses to/from airport

*2025-06-15*

Echoing the other reviewers, not very useful for tourists. Dublin Bus runs the 16 and 41 routes to DUB and are not available for purchase.

### 1/5 — This App is awful

*2025-05-23, version 2.0.5*

If you live in Cork buy a Leap Card. If you are a tourist, stay at home. Unless you live in Cork, guessing what ticket you may require is just too difficult and if, after you finally manage to buy a ticket, the app can freeze as you board and you our ticket data is unavailable. We wasted good money using this App

### 1/5 — Makes no sense

*2025-05-05, version 2.0.5*

The most inefficient and illogical app I’ve ever used for public transport. Trying to simply book a bus from Cork to the airport was an absolute minefield and disaster. I’ve ended up being forced to pay for extra tickets by impatient bus drivers because their bus number wasn’t even listed on the app. The alternative is to bring cash and pay on the bus, but you’re punished with a higher price.

### 1/5 — Not just worst travel app but worst app ever

*2025-04-29, version 2.0.5*

Visited Cork 2 years ago and the transport system and this app honestly put me off the place. It’s so backwards. As a tourist, I cannot think of anything less helpful than this app and how to buy a bus ticket, something that is so simple literally anywhere and everywhere else. Firstly you have to know the bus provider, why and how you would know that as a tourist or even if you live there tbh is ridiculous. Secondly, you have to choose your route number. Again, how the hell would I know? I even checked this online and then tried to find the matching route number with the providers website and it’s not on the app. I literally have the route number and bus operator on one screen and no matching route number on the app. So, I guess I’ll be having to take out euros just for the bus when I go to an event for 24 hours in Cork. Come on guys, sort it out. You’ve had enough complaints for long enough. This app is not fit for purpose, you may as well destroy it and start again.

### 1/5 — Not for tourists!!

*2025-01-06*

Wow! When I initially read the reviews I couldn’t believe the app is THAT BAD! But it is!! You have approx 30 bus companies to choose from and then you have to put in route number and name of start and end stops!! I don’t know because I am a tourist so I thought I could simply buy a day ticket - but NO! You need to know all the same info!! App is useless for tourists which is a shame because Irelands economy depends on tourism.

### 1/5 — Don’t use it’s completely useless

*2024-10-04, version 2.0.5*

It’s the worst app on transport on the market. You can not search were you are going from or to. You need to “guess” the number of the route from some magic list. And forget gps, is not even aware of the technology.

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2024-09-21*

We wanted a cheaper option to see cliffs of Moher. I didn’t see the tickets in my queue after I bought them. My card company asked me if it was fraudulent. Would not recommend this app. Also very laggy and hard to navigate the app with the plethora of bus companies/routes. We ended up renting a car last minute which was expensive.

### 1/5 — Tickets expire in 90 minutes

*2024-08-09*

If you know the exact bus route you need, the app works ok. It’s a bit of a hassle to register, but that’s fine. The one star review here is for the fact that you have to “activate” your ticket, and the app says you have 28 days to use it from activation. Then when you activate the ticket, it says the ticket is only valid for 90 minutes.

1) this is unclear and now I have to buy another ticket. Awful design.

2) why would i ever need to “activate a ticket?” If I bought the fare I should have the ticket. What’s to “activate?” Awful design.

Other reviews say the bus drivers don’t even take these tickets, so why is this app here except to siphon money off of honest customers?

### 1/5 — Worst Transport App

*2024-06-06, version 2.0.5*

I’ve used a fair few transport apps across Europe, and this one is by far the worst. It doesn’t recognise certain trips, crashes frequently and also cannot be used on some services. Combine this with the fact all buses across the Republic of Ireland only take apps like these or cash, it makes the app and the transport network even worse. Make sure you have some Euro’s when on Ireland’s buses!

### 1/5 — I‘m no young adult or student

*2024-05-07, version 2.0.5*

This app does‘nt work.
It’s impossible to change the type of passenger, so I‘m not able to buy a ticket for adults.

It‘s really disappointing!

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-04-29, version 2.0.5*

Tried to use in Dublin. Couldn’t even work out how to use it. Possibly the worst user experience for a public service ever.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Monkey could vibe code better app

*2026-07-03, version 2.0.8*

This has to be the worst app to ever exist. What kind of pile of hot mess is this. How would a tourist know which operator to select why not just to and from and show all available routes? Even when selecting an operator the to and from won’t work unless you know the right route!!!!! Might as well get out the compass and start going on foot. Useless app I wish I could give 0 stars

### 1/5 — Just sell me a ticket

*2026-06-09, version 2.0.8*

Worst transport app I’ve ever used! I just wanted a single ticket for a zone 1 journey, but couldn’t find that anywhere. Deleted the app and paid contactless on the bus.

### 1/5 — Disappointing App and Bus service

*2026-06-07*

We had a very disappointing experience with both the app and the bus service in Cork. The app is poorly designed, difficult to navigate, and not user-friendly at all. It was confusing not only to locate where we want to go, to figure out how to buy a ticket in the first place, but even access tickets that had already been purchased. We spent around 15 minutes trying to find the approximate location, and figure out how to find the operator name, which was missing in the list. To make matters worse, the 208 bus route was missing from the list, making it even more difficult to use the app properly.
When we asked the bus driver for help locating our purchased ticket, he was extremely rude and unhelpful. Rather than assisting us with an issue caused by the app, he insisted that we buy another ticket. We ended up paying twice because of a problem that was not our fault.
A ticketing app should be simple and reliable, and staff should be willing to help passengers when issues arise. Unfortunately, neither the app nor the customer service met even basic expectations. I hope significant improvements are made to the app's functionality and that drivers receive better customer service training.

### 1/5 — Worst app !

*2026-06-03*

This app sucks so bad and literally won’t load properly and I had tor enter my information like 100 times. Couldn’t ride the bus because of it. Please redo this app !!!

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-05-29, version 2.0.8*

this app doesn't work

### 1/5 — unclear and without Dublin

*2026-05-17, version 2.0.8*

This app sounds like its valid for ticket booking especially Dublin, as the busses also show TFI. However, its not including Dublin. Some areas in Ireland and different bus companies are included. May be more helpful for cross-country travel. Unfortunately not self explanatory

### 1/5 — Incredibly long loading screens and inconsistent

*2026-05-02*

The app has incredibly long loading times especially when trying to buy a ticket. Half the time it doesn’t even work.

### 1/5 — Worst bus app

*2026-03-31, version 2.0.8*

Out of all the countries I’ve been to, this is the worst bus app. How on earth am I supposed to know which operator to choose if I’m not a local. Had to go on a massive walk to a Spar to buy a physical card.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-03-03, version 2.0.8*

Doesn’t have Dublin Bus as an operator to select from. Worse app.

### 1/5 — Absolutely useless

*2026-01-20*

Why? Why? Why even issue this app when it is so absolutely useless. I should be able to put in my origin and destination and the option worked everything out for me, date and times and affairs presented and easily understood way. That is not found here. Do not waste your time as you most certainly will waste quite a bit of time trying to figure things out until you hit the wall and realize it is useless.

## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App and easy to use

*2025-09-27, version 2.0.5*

No problems using this product; does not need a huge amount of logic or intelligence to put to good effect in conjunction with the easily accessible route maps. In Cork for a weekend and the App is a quick and easy way to identify specific bus stops and purchase the right ticket. The bus stop details are helpfully shown at the location and the .pdf maps from the bus operators’s websites are brilliant for advance planning. The websites also provide very clearly the name of the operator which can be found by the handy ‘search’ function in the App. Tourist from London and not affiliated in anyway with the App, developers or transport companies. Five stars; fab bit of kit!
