## What is TG?

TG-lite teaches you the English vocabulary you need to enjoy the music and shows you already love — without subtitles.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Take an adaptive placement test that maps your vocabulary to CEFR levels (A1–C2)
• Connect your Spotify account and turn songs you listen to into personalized micro-lessons
• Study words in real context: lyric lines, example sentences, and smart flash cards
• Build vocabulary for TV series episode by episode, guided by what you already know
• Start on the web and continue on iPhone — scan a QR code and your level follows you

HOW IT WORKS
TG-lite keeps a living map of your vocabulary: every answer updates the probability that you know each word. Lessons are built by an optimizer that picks the smallest set of words with the biggest impact on how much of a song or an episode you will understand.

MUSIC
Song lessons are built from lyrics of tracks you choose. Audio plays through your own Spotify account; connecting Spotify is optional and read-only.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-07-17

Hear any word right where it's sung — tap a word to play that moment in the track with the lyric line highlighted, and step through every place it appears.
New goal lessons: learn the exact words for your level, drawn from across your songs and shows — not just one track.
Redesigned Lessons screen: start a new lesson or continue one in a tap; finished lessons tuck neatly out of the way.
A faster song list and smoother in-app playback, plus fixes and polish.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-13

• Your music, your way — your own songs come first, and you can search the full catalog to start a lesson from any track.
• Titles for episodes and songs now display correctly, and your lessons list stays up to date automatically.
• Smoother lessons: clearer guidance when you have a few going at once, and a friendlier re-sign-in if your session times out.
• Sharper vocabulary — advanced learners now get genuinely advanced words from lyrics, not just the easy ones.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-10

Learn English from your own music.
• Connect Spotify and we automatically turn your liked songs into bite-sized vocabulary lessons — no more analyzing tracks one by one.
• See your library get ready in real time, then start a lesson from any song that's ready.
• Faster, more reliable analysis and lots of polish across the app.
