## What is Thanks Bud?

Think back to the last wedding, school event, or neighborhood party. You knew their faces and plenty about them. But when you needed a name, you had to wing it.

Phone numbers fit naturally in Contacts. Notes can hold almost anything, so a useful detail about one person can disappear among everything else. Neither app is built for when you need to know someone's name.

Thanks Bud keeps names, relationships, and useful details together and easy to find when you need them. Add a person with a name and one useful line. When you are about to see them, search from a few letters or a half-remembered detail and pull up what you need.

Open Thanks Bud before you see them. Glance at the name, the people around them, and the line you wrote to bring the person back into focus.

HOW IT HELPS

- A name and one headline are enough to save someone.
- Search works with partial names, typos, notes, relationships, and remembered details.
- Open a group before a wedding, school event, or neighborhood dinner and read the names you want nearby.
- See the people around the person, so the name and relationships make sense together.
- The Day Band on Home shows where saved cities fall in the day.
- Save an optional phone number and email address. Call, message, or email from the person's card.
- Share one person or a group of people as a file. Before you send it, you choose which details to include. Phone numbers and email addresses stay out unless you turn them on.

QUIET UNTIL YOU NEED IT

Thanks Bud sends no reminders, keeps no score, and never tells you that a relationship is overdue. Open it when you need the name, then carry on.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Thanks Bud stores your roster on your iPhone. There is no Thanks Bud account, no advertising, and no analytics. The developer collects no data.

If you save a city, Thanks Bud asks Apple Weather for that city's weather and daylight times. The app never asks for your location. If you share a file or save a backup, you choose the action and the content.

A new iPhone set up from a backup of your old one should bring your people across. You can also save a backup file yourself.

FREE TO USE

Cards, search, built-in groups, sharing, and backups are free. A one-time $7.99 US purchase unlocks custom groups. There is no subscription.

Thanks Bud is made for the people just outside your inner circle: relatives, neighbors, school parents, colleagues, and the familiar faces you want to greet by name.
