Useful for seeing which allowance I should use for a purchase. Easy to see my balances at a glance, and I can see my card details for each balance. I was hoping to be able to claim reimbursement via the app, like I can do on the mobile website. Most of my expenditure happens outside of ThanksBen, so I often need to claim reimbursement for this on a monthly basis. I hope this is coming soon, as I still need to use the mobile website for this. The icing on the cake would be Apple Pay integration, so I can add my card to my wallet from within the app. Definitely not essential as I can add the card manually, but would simplify the process. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No support *2026-03-28* The app has zero support over the weekend and there’s no one to contact when you have an emergency and you need to use the money. ### 1/5 — Very poorly tested *2025-10-22* Basic functionality (editing or assigning dependents) does not work ### 1/5 — Too many hoops *2025-04-24* The UX on this app feels all off. I almost don’t want to spend the money work give me! It’s hard to tell if my work or Ben is to blame. I’ve also had an issue where the card is being refunded but no way of flagging this and very slow support. It’s been happening since the last update. ### 3/5 — LoginBen *2025-05-17* 90% of my time on this app is spent looking at the login screen. It locks me out after just a few minutes. There is no Face ID for quickly getting back in. The email address it requires on the initial screen wasn’t even an email input until just recently. I have an iOS keyboard shortcut to type my super long work email address by just entering a few letters. But this login input doesn’t let me use the shortcut. I must type it manually every single time. I salute the developers for the work they are doing to continuously improve the experience and expand the functionality.
