## What is That Al Salasil | ذات السلاسل?

عام 1972 بدأت رحلة ذات السلاسل في الكويت، بدأ الدكتور عبدالعزيز المنصور وشقيقه الأستاذ عبدالله المنصور الأعمال التجارية. وظلّت المؤسسة تعمل بنجاح في الكويت ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط. بدأنا نشر وتوزيع الكتب في الشرق الأوسط وحول العالم. وفيما بعد توسعت أعمالنا وشملت مجالات أخرى؛ تجارة منتجات التبغ، والأزياء، والإكسسوارات والتجزئة.

حصدت المؤسسة العديد من الجوائز العربية في قطاعات التعليم والصحة وغيرها من القطاعات، وكان أهم جوائزها حصولها (للمرّة الثانية) على التوالي؛ على “جائزة أفضل دار نشر عربية” في معرض الشارقة الدولي، وذلك منذ بداياته الأولى قبل 40 عامًا.

سنة بعد سنة، أصبحت ذات السلاسل واحدة من كبريات دور النشر في الشرق الأوسط، نتيجة لالتزام “الإخوة المنصور” باختيار الموضوعات والعناوين المثيرة للاهتمام والأكثر جودة من حيث الشكل والمحتوى، الأمر الذي رفع المؤسسة والمؤسسين إلى مصاف كبرى الأسماء المميزة في المجال التجاري والثقافي في الكويت.

تنبع قوتنا من دقة اختيارنا للأسماء التجارية المتفوقة عالميًا وتسويق منتجاتها مثل “لونجمان للنشر” و “دي لا رو”،

كما شراكتنا مع (WH Smith) في المملكة المتحدة.
