Plus, there’s also the option to create your own service opportunities on the app for other users to join and help with. Overall, ThatHelps is just the most welcoming and wonderful app I’ve ever downloaded. The navigation and layout is easy for anyone to use and browse through. I haven’t really tried to search for more local opportunities as I assumed it would automatically redirect itself or change based on user location. So that could use a little work as well as being more informative and more descriptive in the volunteer work and types of charities that are available. Other than that it’s a helpful app and needs to be shared so more people can join this app and give more feedback and build together. Also the apps name could be more catchy or appealing. I’m no good at review or writing so pardon my not so good review. I also wrote this in regards to the no kid hungry opportunity to help contribute the ten dollars being donated. I learn a lot from the posts which are all quick, easy reads! Navigation is straightforward and logical. I found a lot of great options for volunteering in the arts and LGBTQ organizations. I wanted to get out there and really make a difference, but this is useless. You aren’t actually doing anything. Various interest categories can be separated out (Education, Climate Change, Social Justice for example) so if you’re looking for the rests in a specific category it’s much easier to find. Items can be shared on social media (FB/Twitter) very easily between platforms.
