Pure ai slop. Go waste your money elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2026-03-06* The app asks me to choose a username. No matter what I put, the app tells me that the name is inappropriate. Unfortunately I cannot get past this screen. ### 1/5 — Bots only *2026-03-05* They miss-sold playing against other players when it’s only boys - avoid UPDATE TO RESPONSE Playing real players is not the same as playing the stats of real players. You are mis-selling everyone. **Developer response:** We're sorry if you didn't get what you were expecting. But we can assure you that all the players in the leaderboards are real players, not bots. The opponents you go up against use stats from real players, but it's not possible to play against 99 other people in real time as you'd be waiting a very long time before each game to begin. ### 1/5 — Question Writing *2026-02-10* App works well, is decently fun. Shame the question writing is at times a little badly formatted for the app (images too small for the screen after they zoom out) and I’ve actually run into a case now where the question’s given answer is objectively wrong because of how it’s been written. Update: Now found at least two questions that are objectively wrong because of bad proofreading. Do not buy until someone has given the question bank a once over. **Developer response:** We are sorry you aren’t happy with our game and decided to leave us a one-star review, despite it working well and being decently fun. There are plans to add a button that will let you hide the keyboard and zoom back in on the question, which will hopefully help address one of your concerns. All the questions and answers have been triple checked, but if you think you’ve spotted a problem with one in the future, please send support a message from within the app so they can investigate and correct it if necessary. I think the ambeience before the question starts could be better too. Just read another response to another review saying ‘we plan to add speech, but can’t guarantee it’ll be Lee’. What’s the point of adding speech if it’s not the host. Really? ### 4/5 — Good but could be better *2026-03-07* I’ve been really enjoying the new 1% Club World Challenge app so far. The gameplay feels very true to the actual show, which makes it really engaging and fun to play. It’s great to see the concept brought into an interactive format. One thing that could make the experience even better would be having Lee Mack reading the questions, as his delivery is a big part of what makes the show so entertaining. Adding his voice would make the game feel even more authentic. It could also be great if there were an option to play alongside other people live, even if it’s just a limited number of players per game. That kind of shared experience would really capture the atmosphere of the show. Another nice feature would be the ability to play with friends or join games together, which would make it more social and competitive. Finally, making the app free to play (or offering a free version) could help it reach a much wider audience and encourage more downloads, especially if some of these extra features were added. Overall though, it’s a really enjoyable app with a lot of potential, and I’m excited to see how it develops in future updates. ### 4/5 — great game *2026-03-07* the game itself is great. the graphics and gameplay are very good, feels like being in a game. love the show so this is great inbetween episodes the only issues i have are things that are probably just consequences of trying to adapt a gameshow into an app. you can’t type your answer, instead you type the first letter of each word and choose from a preselection of predicted words. this gives leading answers (i once was going to answer type, but that wasnt available. typewriter was, and i realised that was the answer instead, so technically cheating!). i wish there was greater flexibility of answers as there are with the playalong app. for example, an answer i gave wasn’t EXACTLY the same as what it was asking (e.g, i used a synonym in my answer) and this was incorrect. the playlong app wouldve accepted this but i was kicked from the game. i would love in future updates for there to be an option to continue to play after elimination even if it doesnt count for anything, or a section on the app to play 1% questions. im just being picky though. great app, love playing! ### 5/5 — Fun game to kill time! *2026-06-06* Ditto ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Very enjoyable *2026-04-22* Agree with some of the reviews, would be good to have Lee Mack reading the questions but I’ve noticed the game is quite Americanised with relation to some of the questions.
