I have saved watches on the website that do not show in the app. Also the app gives a consistent error message when signing in that the website does not. This is still after removing the app and redownloading it. ### 4/5 — Fun app *2026-01-01, version 8.6.0* Great app for the watch obsessed. Really? ### 3/5 — Nice app but frustrating to track wishlist watches *2024-01-15, version 6.4.3* I’ve bought multiple watches and 1916 company is great. App doesn’t live up to the service. Every time a watch is sold it should come off wishlist or mark as sold on wishlist. To click on it and have a not available is so frustrating. Also scrolling doesn’t save position when looking at wishlist. Goes back to top and have to find position again!! Part of the fun is to track many watches. It you track more than 5 it is a SUPER frustrating experience. ### 3/5 — Nice app with lots of features but doesn’t get basics right *2023-11-09* When I go to the “Wishlist” it doesn’t 1) remember the scrolling location when I click on watches on my wish list and 2) watches that are sold should either automatically come off the wish list or get to the back of the list with the label “sold”. Hence managing the wish list is a chore and I use Chrono24 for my wish list. European Watch Company app does it really well (but not perfectly). Sold watches should go to the end and marked sold. ### 1/5 — Time to learn some geography *2023-06-10, version 6.3.0* Hey guys it looks like you should fix your geography knowledge as my country is missing from the list and I can’t even finish the registration process. Cyprus is one of the oldest territory to host humans and part culture cradle (as extension of Greece pf course, not competing with Africa of course) and part pf EU. I understand that us people rarely know anything outside us, but YOU guys could do better. ### 3/5 — Glitches when viewing photos of your collection *2023-05-04, version 6.2.9* There's a glitch that's been around for multiple versions of this app. If you click into a photo of a watch in your collection, you cannot close out of the photo. You have to quit the app and relaunch. ### 2/5 — What’s the point? *2023-04-30, version 6.2.9* I seriously don’t understand the point of this app. It’s difficult to do a straight up search of the Watchbox inventory and it’s “collecting” features are so thin as to be non-existent. Also, I can’t have my iPad turned 180 degrees and still use this app? What? ### 2/5 — Decent App *2023-04-27, version 6.2.9* It's a decent app that has info and news on what's out there and what's trending. What the app is missing is the rest of the info. Meaning that it doesn't actually have all watched cataloged which might be hard to do considering how many watches exist, but if you're going to make an app about watches...you'd expect it to at least be updated with the current watches of today. I can't even find Seiko SSC819, and that watch just came out a few years ago so information should be updated by now. But guess not. Also most of the watches cataloged are missing their pictures. Like come on man. Overall, good concept. It is nice to have an app dedicated to watches instead of surfing through YouTube and Google all the time. Just wish it's improved. ### 2/5 — Only for luxury watches, not regular ones. *2023-03-14, version 6.2.5* The app looks great, but I was hoping for an app to collect my more ‘normal’ watches like Adidas and Emporio Armani. I guess the hunt for a good app continues. Sad that there has to be this segregation. ### 3/5 — Buggy app *2023-01-28, version 6.2.2* The app looses scrolling and filtering. Filtering is just almost nonexistent. Example Brand selection does not effect model choice. You would think that model should have only models for the brand(s) you selected. But no it displays models from all brands. I have not tried other filters. But this i would think is the most usable. I usually just use website. The app also crashes sometimes. ### 1/5 — Sad attempt at an upgrade *2023-01-13, version 6.2.1* WatchBox used to have a great app and I was on it almost every evening. I’ve even bought several watches from this company. Then, the upgrade happened and it doesn’t work anymore. One review was obviously written by an employee. Upgrade is in desperate need of an upgrade. So much easier to go to WatchBox.com to check out their inventory. ### 3/5 — Requires log in *2023-01-12, version 6.2.1* There are apps that are legitimately useless and cannot function without a properly signed in user. This app is not one of those apps but it still won’t let you past the login screen unless you sign in. This is frequently indicative of ulterior motives such as marketing and tracking under the guise of providing extra features like remote syncing and personalization (which should not act as a gatekeeper in this case). That is why I’m taking 2 stars off the rating (the app works but is unusable for a subset of users, myself included). ### 2/5 — Shameful for a massive company *2022-12-28, version 6.2.1* This app is slow, unresponsive, not intuitive, frequently crashes, has trouble loading the most basic of watch pages then will lose its place if you—god forbid—click a watch then want to return to where you were browsing. This is now an app that has been updated several times and is still plagued with the same trash issues. Figure it out. ### 1/5 — User not found *2022-10-01, version 6.1.4* So I wasn’t launching this app for a while and now it says ‘user not found’?! What do you guys think of it, a daily routine app?! That’s stupid. Deleted it and farewell to you. Chrono24 won after all because it remains on my phone despite it’s own downsides. At least they do not delete users who don’t visit luxury watch market on a daily basis (which is normal). ### 2/5 — Basically garbage *2022-09-11, version 6.1.0* This app is kind of a joke. It logs you out constantly, then when you log back in, you see that whatever you had saved previously is ALL deleted. After 3-4 incidents like this, I just got sick and tired of having to create a new account a d start all over almost EVERY SINGLE TIME the app was opened up. I’m not sure why but this app repeatedly crashed and is unable to display images of common pieces and from the limited experience seems very limited in content and user interaction in comparison with other Watch collecting software.
