It has one of the hardest AIs I've encountered, even on medium, comparable to chess AIs. The hex variations are a little more strategic than the square versions, but this makes up for that with taunts plus sublime graphics and music. If only it had online multiplayer! It could be awesome. ### 4/5 — It reminds me of hexagon *2012-05-05, version 1.0* There used to be an old DOS game called Hexxagon. This is like a square version of that. I love thus game. I just wish I could play it online with my friends. ### 4/5 — Great game! *2012-03-06, version 1.0* This is a remake of the classic microscope game from The 7th Guest, and it looks and plays great. Be warned, the AI will not go easy on you, it's quite challenging! If I had one complaint, it would be the audio. The great slurping sound the amoebas made when they split is gone, and on top of that the new music really doesn't feel like it fits in The 7th Guest at all, I'd have preferred they kept the original music by The Fat Guy in instead. One good thing about the audio however is the return of Stauf, I can't believe they got the original actor to come back and record new taunts, what a great addition! I managed to beat Old Man Stauf on the 2nd level, but after that it just gets extremely difficult to beat the AI. Mad props to the few that can pull it off at the most difficult level. The design work that went into this little app also sets it apart from the more generic abstract puzzle games. You'll really appreciate the new Stauf taunts if you've played The 7th Guest before. So if you're really good at puzzles and you're smarter than me (which you probably are), then pick this one up. You'll get mad at Stauf, but it feels good when you finally get even with him.
