No longer works *2024-02-25* The concept is great and for the few months that it work I appreciated the coupons and the notifications when new products drop at stores. Unfortunately, the last month or so it hasn't been working at all and appears to be completely taken off-line. Nothing loads. Scanner in the store doesn't work either which was helpful in finding the price of items that had no price listed in shelf (which is often!) ### 2/5 — Ok *2023-08-23* App shows deals but when you go to the store it show’s that the product is not stock when it shows it’s in the app. Also when you go in store for the weekly deal drops the prices are not the same as it says in the app! Came in today to the Baldwin Park Store for the 99 cent bagged avocados deal drops and they weren’t 99cents! Spoke with a worker and someone from management who said that the app is way off! Nothing fancy or extra about it. It basically is just a “look at our nice photos, see what we “might” have in stock when you come in”. Yes, it’s a 99¢ store, but many items are priced about the 99¢ mark, of course. It would just be better if it offered more. What would be extra, even super convenient, would be if the app offered a scan option. Why does this app not have a scan option? To scan items in store for price check, and/or scan items, outside of store, to search in-store for location, in stock, if carry, etc. Please consider the scan option on your app. That would be so helpful. I’ve deleted and re downloaded the app and it always saying I need WiFi or service but I always have full bars and WiFi . The 99 cents store is literally losing money by investing in this app and keeping it published. I had 100% service in the store, full signal from my cell service. The categories load, but when I search for ANYTHING in the store the search feature doesn’t work. Why have it if the function doesn’t work? Please fix it. Edit to add/ Now the categories function is not working. Just goes from main categories to subcategories in a broken cycle. Doesn’t give any discounts except for the first time you get 5 bucks. You can look an item up but the descriptions are vague so you can’t really find what you want and if you do there is no guarantee it’s actually in the store. It gives you $5 dollars off but MUST use within an hour well if you activate before going in and accidentally spend more than an hour looking around or in a long line you’re out. The app isn’t smart enough like many others out there to renew itself because it wasn’t used. This app really helps me with that. The design looks a little outdated, but I'm sure that very soon they will update their application, the main thing is that the functionality works correctly.
