## What is The Agora?

Philosophy is easier to understand when you can question it, challenge it, and defend your own ideas.

The Agora helps you learn philosophy through interactive debates with history’s greatest thinkers. Choose a philosopher, pick a topic, and test your beliefs in a conversation designed to make you think more deeply.

Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
Instead of simply reading what Socrates, Plato, Nietzsche, Jung, Marcus Aurelius, Camus, and other thinkers believed, you can engage directly with their ideas.

LEARN BY DEBATING

Choose a philosopher and explore questions about meaning, morality, happiness, identity, freedom, purpose, and the good life.

Take a position. Defend it. Face objections. See where your reasoning holds up and where it needs work.

CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE

• Guided: Learn with more support and explanation
• Balanced: A thoughtful challenge to your reasoning
• Relentless: Put your arguments under serious pressure

SEE HOW YOU THINK

After each debate, receive a detailed report showing:

• Your strongest arguments
• Weaknesses in your reasoning
• How you could improve
• Your performance throughout the debate

DAILY PHILOSOPHY CHALLENGES

Return each day for a new question designed to make you reflect, reason, and form your own position.

EXPLORE GREAT THINKERS

Debate ideas inspired by philosophers and thinkers including:

• Socrates
• Plato
• Aristotle
• Friedrich Nietzsche
• Marcus Aurelius
• Carl Jung
• Albert Camus
• Fyodor Dostoevsky
• Søren Kierkegaard

BUILD YOUR OWN PHILOSOPHY

The goal of The Agora is not to tell you what to believe.

It is to help you understand great ideas, challenge the assumptions you have inherited, and develop beliefs you can actually defend.

Whether you're completely new to philosophy or already spend hours reading and watching philosophical content, The Agora turns passive learning into active thinking.

Learn philosophy. Challenge your beliefs. Think for yourself.

### 5/5 — Best philosophy app I’ve come across

*2026-09-27*

I’ve had so much trouble learning philosophy just by trying to read. I always zone out and the fact you made an interactive way to learn it has made it a million times easier

### 5/5 — The app everyone studying philosophy needed.

*2026-09-09*

This app completely changes how philosophy can be learned and as someone who struggled with the long sessions of reading and critiquing arguments that came with studying philosophy. This app made all of it easy, I was able to talk to and debate some of the philosophers of who’s books I was reading and that let me gain a deeper understanding of core theories in a much more fun, interactive and accessible way.

### 5/5 — FINALLY!

*2026-09-05*

The most engaging way to learn philosophy that I found. Instead of just reading ideas, you actively debate, defend your beliefs, and improve your reasoning. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — The Future Of Philosophical Learning

*2026-08-10*

This app is hands down amazing. The formulation of arguments with rooted principles from the actual works of the philosophers is fascinating. The ability to have a deep conversation and get counter points immediately to learn from is so valuable and powerful in anyone’s growth journey as a deep thinker.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-20*

This helps me retain philosophy much better than passively reading it

**Developer response:** Love to hear that!!

### 5/5 — Awesome with a fixable issue.

*2026-06-14*

I love the concept, and I love the debates I’ve had so far.

What I find annoying is that I’ve never been able to finish a debate when I feel I want to end it.

The “Finish Debate” button is right in front of everything and it’s soooo easy to miss click, that it happens with every single debate.

It doesn’t ask for a confirmation, and neither gives you a chance to re open the debate.

Fixing that would totally make the experience more enjoyable.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! I will get on that right away!
