## What is The Agora?

For centuries, philosophy was something you read.

Now it can challenge you back.

The Agora turns philosophy into active practice. Instead of only reading, watching, or memorizing ideas, you step into the argument yourself. Choose a philosopher, choose a question, defend your beliefs, face objections, and sharpen the way you think.

Debate thinkers like Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche, Marcus Aurelius, and Carl Jung. Each philosopher challenges you through their own ideas, style, and worldview, pushing you to explain what you believe and why you believe it.

This is not passive learning.

This is learning through practice.

In The Agora, you can:

• Debate history’s greatest philosophers
• Choose questions that challenge your beliefs
• Select your debate mode: Guided, Balanced, or Relentless
• Defend your position in a real back-and-forth exchange
• Receive a Debate Report after your argument
• Get scored on the strength of your reasoning
• Review your strengths, flaws, and ways to improve
• Track your score chart, past debates, and debate reports
• Unlock achievements as you grow
• Complete the Daily Challenge and build the habit of sharper thinking

The Debate Report is where learning becomes growth. After each debate, The Agora reviews your argument, scores your reasoning, explains what worked, and shows where your thinking can become stronger.

The Daily Challenge gives you a reason to return each day: one philosopher, one question, and another opportunity to practice becoming clearer, sharper, and more disciplined in the way you think.

For anyone interested in philosophy, self-improvement, critical thinking, debate, Stoicism, psychology, or personal growth, The Agora gives you a new way to learn.

Do not just read philosophy.

Enter the Agora.

### 5/5 — The Future Of Philosophical Learning

This app is hands down amazing. The formulation of arguments with rooted principles from the actual works of the philosophers is fascinating. The ability to have a deep conversation and get counter points immediately to learn from is so valuable and powerful in anyone’s growth journey as a deep thinker.

This helps me retain philosophy much better than passively reading it

**Developer response:** Love to hear that!!

### 5/5 — Awesome with a fixable issue.

*2026-06-14*

I love the concept, and I love the debates I’ve had so far.

What I find annoying is that I’ve never been able to finish a debate when I feel I want to end it.

The “Finish Debate” button is right in front of everything and it’s soooo easy to miss click, that it happens with every single debate.

It doesn’t ask for a confirmation, and neither gives you a chance to re open the debate.

Fixing that would totally make the experience more enjoyable.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! I will get on that right away!
