Your snake has opinions — and it shares them out loud. The AI Snake is classic Snake reimagined with smooth, continuous movement: hold left or right to carve your turns, release to go straight. Eat the food, dodge the walls, and try not to trip over your own tail — while the snake comments on everything you do. Every line is generated live by on-device AI and spoken aloud, so no two games sound the same. Grab the food and it gloats. Skim past your own tail and it panics. Crash and it delivers your eulogy. MEET THE SNAKES Pick your personality: the deadpan British Snake, a mellow Surfer Dude, a jargon-spouting Corporate Snake, a dramatic Shakespearean, a serene Zen master, MC Hiss the rapper, Count Hissula, Captain Hissbeard the pirate, a cowboy, a wizard — even your grandma. Each has its own voice, colors, favorite foods, and soundtrack. HOW IT PLAYS • Smooth, continuous movement — not grid-based. Hold ◀ or ▶ to turn. • Food arrives through a wormhole. Golden food is worth triple, but it won't wait for you. • A live-synthesized soundtrack reacts to the action: near misses, eat streaks, and record runs all change the music. • The exact same arena on every iPhone, so scores are truly comparable — and an optional Game Center leaderboard to compete on. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your device — the AI, the voices, the music. Play offline with no ads, no tracking, and no account required. An internet connection is only needed for the optional Game Center leaderboard and for unlocking new snakes. Choosing a snake changes the music and the view. Your best score sits up there too, in gold. PAUSE THAT STAYS PAUSED Pause, switch apps or lock the screen, and the snake will be waiting exactly where you left it. Leaving mid-run now pauses for you too, so nobody dies while you answer a message. GOLDEN FOOD ON A FAIRER SCHEDULE Golden food used to be a dice roll — sometimes three in a row, sometimes a whole run without one. Now every five foods holds exactly one golden, so the dash for triple points comes around at a steady pace. BUTTONS THAT LOOK LIKE BUTTONS The leaderboard and sound controls on the snake picker are labelled buttons now, instead of two small icons players kept missing. NO MORE GHOST RUNS Opening Control Center from the snake picker could quietly start a game behind the menu — you would hear it playing, and hear it crash, without ever seeing it. Gone. A CLEANER GAME OVER Tapping to play again the instant you crashed could leave the last run's score hanging over the new game, with the score counter missing from the corner. A new run starts clean now, however fast your thumb is. ### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-24 BRING YOUR OWN SOUNDTRACK Music, sound effects and the snake's voice now have separate switches, behind the speaker button on the snake picker. Turn them off and play along to Spotify, a podcast, or nothing at all — the snake goes on writing its quips either way, you just read them instead of hearing them. A SMOOTHER SNAKE Long snakes used to turn in visible corners. Now they curve properly, however far a run goes. FASTER ON OLDER IPHONES The snake is drawn a new way that no longer slows down as it grows. If a good long run used to turn sluggish, that's fixed. ### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-11 GLOBAL LEADERBOARD The Game Center leaderboard is now live. Your best run goes up on the worldwide board, and your existing personal best is submitted automatically the first time you sign in — nothing you've already scored is lost.
