However, the font is too large and can’t be adjusted for my device and won’t let me scroll down to read all the information that may be available. I’ve tried it on my ipad and iphone. I’ll be deleting it ### 2/5 — So many broken links *2021-07-03, version 3.2* It’s ok as a starting point for finding places and things to do but the majority of links are broken and it gets frustrating ### 4/5 — Updated Review *2021-03-28, version 3.1* I was disappointed a few months back when all the weather data was stripped from the app. I wrote the developer and after several exchanges, a promise was made to reinstate those features. This latest update has done that. Weather, sunrise/sunset times, aurora forecast and web cams are back! There’s more that can be added and I’m holding off on a five-star hoping that other features are coming. ### 2/5 — ...when did they take out the Aurora forecast? *2020-11-27, version 3.0* As an Alaskan, I get I’m not the targeted audience of this app. But the calendar of events by city or borough, and the aurora forecast were really useful. IMO, they’ve updated the usability and function right out of this app. Everything is buried behind menu option after menu option and the weather option has completely disappeared. I’m deleting it. ### 2/5 — Favorites Deleted *2017-03-15, version 2.0.1* This app is wonderful for information and recommendations- I spent a good hour at least collecting favorite places to visit on an upcoming trip to Alaska, but when I opened the app again a few days later, they had been wiped clear! Such a bummer, because I can't remember all of the cool places I had saved and wasted a lot of time putting the list together. A gold mine of info! It told me things to see and do and had interesting stories about the places along the way. I wish I knew about this app before I came to Alaska. There's a travel guide on the home screen with great tips for when to come, where to go, what to do, etc. Thanks for all the hard work! ### 5/5 — The real deal! *2016-06-29, version 2.0.1* There is so much information and value in this app. Haven't seen another travel app like it. ( I get sound on every other app I have). According to the app contacts (who are very easy to contact and email) There is suppose to be a new version before summer. Hope so we're going to AK in May 2016. Update: I had my iPad side switch turned off. I live in Palmer, Alaska and got this app out of curiosity and started by looking up my home town. I was surprised by what wasn't there. Only 1 of the dozens of stores is listed, it shows only 1 inn despite 2 other hotels in town, maybe 1/3 of restaurants are shown and one is out of business. But I’m in Nome right now, where it’s hard to find info, and the app gives me so much history about each of the notable buildings, places to stop on the drives out of town, and cool stories about what went on here. Also great for my kids to listen and learn about flaura, fauna, history and sites we were visiting. Highly recommend to anyone traveling (or living) in Alaska.
