Examples of bullying and also the roles of bystanders are addressed, as well as some beginning strategies to help young children (3-8) cope with familiar tough situations that may occur at school. I really like how the developers chose an alien as the star of the book as his situations of being bullied and alternately being the aggressor arise because of not knowing how to act. When taught, Allen the Alien is able to change his actions.
