I don't know if that will ever be fixed. The app loads up just fine. ### 3/5 — Still no sound on videos but content good. *2022-05-27* The audio on the video sections with Richard are still silent. Doesn’t seem to be any way via settings to correct this. The written content is great but the app as far as I can see is broken. Update: This app has been updated recently, so I repurchased it. All seems to be working good now on a M1 iPad Pro . Note that the iPad purchase price of $34.99 US, does not work on the new Mac M1 computers, looks like you would have to pay for it again on the M1 Macs for it to work. DO NOT BUY! As of 10/07/2020 Does not load after the intro animation, the skip button does not work, does not go beyond a black screen! Tried restarting iPad Pro, deleting app and reloading, but nothing pass the intro animation of the books cover. Will be requesting a refund from Apple, because this app does not work as advertised. It’s unfortunate that Apple knows about this, and other apps that don’t work, but still allow them to be sold to customers, wasting our time and money, because sometimes they don’t give back refunds. Every time I launch the app, I have to watch the entire intro, “skip” does nothing. If I accidentally back out of the app, I have to restart it and watch it over again. I was hesitant to buy it with all of the negative reviews regarding the sound not playing for the videos. I’m writing this 09/28/2020 on an I pad 6 generation - iOS 13.5.1 and have no trouble with the audio. There are some animation samples with no audio, but this is as intended. The teaching bits with William’s on camera play fine with full audio. The animation samples are worth the price, even if you already own the book. You can step through forward and back and play with onion skin. Of course nothing beats being able to read about timing and spacing and then being able to see what it should look like actually animated. It’s perfect if you're just starting out or have been in the industry for years and want to remember the basics. I own the book as well and for the extra video content alone, this app is worth the cost. I’ve never run into any sound issues - I bought this back when I had the iPad 2, now I have the iPad Pro and it still works like a charm. Although there is no way to bookmark in the app it does have a very nicely laid out table of contents that will take you back to any chapter.
