## What is The Apex Auto?

The Apex Auto app is the all-in-one operations tool for our dealership team and our customers. It puts the whole dealership in your pocket — inventory, the phone line, customer messages, deals, and buyer self-service — behind a secure sign-in.

- Inventory at a glance. Browse the lot, open any vehicle, and see photos, specs, and status in seconds.
- Add a vehicle in minutes. Scan the VIN with your camera, capture clean, consistent vehicle photos with on-screen guidance, and scan title and other documents straight from your phone.
- A built-in dealership phone. Place and receive customer calls right in the app, with a full-screen incoming-call screen and hands-free car audio, so you never miss a buyer.
- One inbox for every conversation. Text threads with customers live in a single, organized place.
- Deals and payments. Run quick payment simulations, manage buy-here-pay-here accounts, and keep reconditioning costs in check — all role-based, so each team member sees exactly what they should.

- Your account, anytime. See your balance, your next payment, how many payments are left, and your full payment history.
- Make a payment in a tap through our secure checkout, or turn on automatic payments.

### 2.0.56 — 2026-08-10

See where a tracked vehicle is, on a map.

- Live position, the trip in progress drawn as it happens, and a replay of recent trips.
- The location now reads as a street address, and tapping it opens the spot in your maps app.
- Recent trips cover 32 days with street names.

Also fixed on the account screen: the amount financed, the down payment, the rate and the
number of instalments were shown as blank or "coming soon" when the app already had them,
a balance that rounded two different ways, and a payment split that did not add up.

### 2.0.54 — 2026-08-07

Google sign-in now works on iPhone for staff and dealer partners — it never has until now.
(Bought a car from us? Use "Sign in with your phone" instead.)

Tapping a notification now opens what it is about: a customer's message opens that
conversation with their number ready to dial, and a transferred or missed call opens
the Inbox filtered to the caller. Notifications after the first one of a session work
again, and one tapped while signed out survives the login screen.

Also: better contrast on the in-call Hold control.

### 2.0.52 — 2026-08-06

Reliability updates for photo upload and sign-in, and quote accuracy improvements:
- County sales tax now resolves from the buyer's full ZIP code, correct for all 67 Florida counties.
- Financing rates offered on a quote respect the Florida statutory ceiling for the vehicle's age, term and payment schedule.
- Photos taken in rapid succession can no longer be lost while uploading.
- Signing out now fully closes the session, including uploads still in flight.
