The videos answer most of my questions about the space. Including neighborhood content is incredible — I can finally with confidence find the right community and apartment that fit my vibe. ### 5/5 — For All Things NYC *2022-03-24, version 4.0.0* April has helped me so much since moving to NYC. The apartment posts help me understand what apartments actually look like with no misleading photos. And my favorite part is the neighborhood videos, I have explored so many new places I found on April and have loved them all! I first discovered April through a friend when they sent me a link to a video on their app. I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised either way! This is a fresh new take on apartment marketing for sure. I was always kinda second guessing the layout of apartments through still photos on rental websites. But, to view the layout of an apartment through videos is something I wasn’t expecting yet. But, April found a way to make that happen! Plus, the addition of neighborhood videos really helped me get a glimpse at my potential neighborhood I’ll be moving into 😌👌🏽 ### 5/5 — Love it *2022-03-23, version 4.0.0* This is actually one of the cooler apps I’ve used. We're still working on this, but we're committed to continually improving the experience and we appreciate the feedback. ### 2/5 — Confused *2021-07-02, version 3.0.0* The videos move super quickly and it’s hard to gauge what the place looks like. Also, a lot of the videos focus on the person taking the video. Like I don’t care what the person giving the tour looks like. I care about the apartment **Developer response:** Hi @nikki7772, we hear you on the video speed and are working on a couple ways to remedy this ranging from the implementation of quality standards to user interface updates like slowing down play speeds. Since April doesn't shoot these videos, we're working with our partners who film their own content to follow best practices for our renters so they can get a much better sense of the apartment and its layout. We've also put in place new guidelines for our suppliers to showcase the apartment and not the agent/owner who made it. We apologize for any missed expectations you may have had, and we wanted to let you know that we've spent the past several weeks since receiving it putting in place a new set of content standards for our partners. As April does not record these videos, we can only work with the materials provided by the unit owners and representatives. That said, it's up to us to do better to make sure it's clear what makes for acceptable content on the April platform. We'll continue to improve on this as we grow and add new content creator features to April, but in the meantime, we hope the improved video quality these past several weeks shows how seriously we take this.
